The world unfolding - as in 2 Timothy

These are exciting times we live in. Our Lord will soon come for us and we are the generation that is seeing everything come into place. Daniel is a wonderful book to read.

"But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." Daniel 12:4.

The Hebrew word da 'ath is translated as" knowledge" and it means: knowledge, perception, skill or discernment, understanding, wisdom. Just before this Scripture Daniel has learned about the end times. Then he was told that those living in these days would understand more. Boy, don't we ever understand more! So many wrong interpretations have been taught through the centuries because former generations could not foresee things like Israel being back in the land. ISRAEL IS BACK IN THE LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The false teaching of replacement theology came about because people just couldn't understand how Israel would ever be back in the land which God gave them. How many nations have ever been dispersed worldwide, stayed true to their nationality, then returned to the land as a nation - all according to prophecy? The Temple is being rebuilt! There has to be a Temple before the end and they are so very close to putting up walls. It will be done. How? God knows. We may not be able to see it, but it will be done. The Jews are being stired to return to Jerusalem. Wow.

There always will be scoffers:

"That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 2 Peter:2-7

But Jesus told us:

"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:25-28
