I was just puzzled that I had not seen any official confirmation from anyone in the Israeli government making this official in lieu of the fact that Haaretz is making such a statement. Blessings, Because the Israeli government is basically a secular government. Don't you think that if the Israeli government were a Theocracy that there would be a temple already? I do. If The Israeli government wanted to they could have a new temple up there in short order. However I think that the government will be changing. Did you know that the Sanhedrin has been re-instituted? They are now based out of Tiberius.
