It has to be done because the Abomination of Desolation will be there. I read an article a while back (I think I posted it on Worthy) about a prediction that when the Churva Synagogue is completed, the building of the Temple will begin. That synagogue is to be finished on March 15th this year. I have seen a few rumour mill stories about the Third Temple and the sanctification of the altar that is supposed to go into it with the sacrifice of a Red Hefier (a specifically bred red hefier that is supposed to meet the requirements of the law). I have done a number of searches for more reliable story sources and so far I can only find forums and blogs with these stories. The altar is rumoured to be sanctified at Passover this year and if the rumours do end up being TRUE, then the Jews will be wanting to build the Temple soon for sure. We will have to wait and see. The take is the Building of this new temple will be the abomination because the spot is holy and this temple will allow the worship of all faiths. There is a lengthy one about the Red Heifer. Another interesting one is about the priests robes. They are tailoring them to fit specific people. It sounds to me as if they are sure the Temple will be rebuilt soon. I realy to like looking through the site because they are so inspired in what they are doing. Thje antichrist will sit in the temple of God showing himself to be God. Since we know that God sat on the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies this is where the antichrait will also be sitting which means that there must be a new temple built on the temple mount with a Holy of Holies. I Pet 2:5 The abomination of desolation has ALREADY been in the temple. The pagan Roman Army tore it down, stone upon stone in 70 AD and even stole the gold from between the stones.
