The bill, sponsored by Sen. David Boswell, D-Owensboro, allows schools to offer courses in the bible as electives, meaning no student would be required to take them. Or whether she's referring to the U.S. or the Kentucky Constitution. Under the U.S. Constitution, only the establishment, or promotion, of a religion is prohibited. It says nothing about educating students about ANY religion. Since public schools are under the purview of the individual states though, she may be referring to the laws in her own state.
