Two months ago, I knew who I was going to vote for in my local county/government. But, about a month ago this politician who hubby and I went to school with, got really personal and brought something up about his opponent that happened 20 years ago. Anyway, I was feeling a lot of different emotions, and one of those emotions was anger. When I got up this morning and was getting ready to go vote, my anger grew. I was hoping and praying this politician was going to be there so I could give him my peace of mind - even though I knew that wasn't right. When I got there he wasn't there, but his opponent was there :). I got out of my car and walked over to him, shook his hand and said, "I hope you win by a landslide". God really does put you (in this situation it was the politician) where He wants you - Thank you, Jesus!!!!!!!!

love, sister-in-Christ,

Jane

We should all have such clear direction when we vote! Unfortunately, we usually don't. This go round, I'm simply voting for whoever has stood against the crazy spending, socialist agenda. Regardless of the letter by their name. That means Kaye Bailey Hutchinson and Rick Perry aren't getting MY vote.

I voted a straight Republican ticket, and I don't care who knows it! :33:

I voted four Republican, three Democrat, and the rest were either unopposed, Independent or Libertarian. Gotta keep that independent thinker sign on my forehead. Oh, and my Senators weren't up for reelection....I'm disappointed that I couldn't vote against them. But I DID get to vote against Texas governor, Rick Perry.

All I know is this, I got to vote Against Barbra Boxer, and Nancy Polosi. That right there mad me feel good!

Oh and I feel this.

If you can vote, and choose not to, you forfeit your right to complain about politics until the next voting cycle.

 Amen!

Something else to add to that. I don't know who said it, but:

"All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

That would be Edmund Burke.
