Good grief! If you want tangible evidence of God just pick up a bible!

This is circular reasoning. You need tangible evidence before you can believe the Bible.

God requires faith. There is no way to have tangible evidence of Him. If God had a tangible evidence, then

you would not be free to choose Him or reject Him.

I believe this now and I believed that when I was a Christian.

What would not be circular reasoning?

 I dunno. You got me! ummm....square reasoning?

Lot of people I know use obtuse reasoning?

Seriously though, of course you are right.

Viole? Tangible evidence besides the bible? Follow these steps.

1 Get up

2 Walk outside

3 Look up at the sky

You are moving, breathing, seeing, and taking in His creation.

There's four tangible reasons alone....

Blessings

Todd Friel in a debate mentioned the understanding that life demonstrated a Creator was the big ol' cosmic "Duh!"

I thought that description was pretty apt.

The point I was going to make is that the Bible is not circular reasoning. God told us things in advance so that we could see the fulfillment of prophesy, Jesus' life, death and resurrection are historical reality, and the wisdom of the Bible permits the experienced reality of God by the reading. Not only that but it permits a worldview that makes sense of logic and scientific investigation.

Without the Bible, there is only circular reasoning, but using the Bible everything works together as a cogent whole.

By contrast, everything else is circular reasoning.

As much as I hesitate to question your statement (I am certain that "others" will anyway), explain this to me

I stand on the bridge down the road from my house. Underneath me, in the water is a large crocodile (they are evident everywhere). I decide to jump, knowing full well that I will in all probabilty be attacked and eaten. There is nothing circular about this reasoning that I can see (or is this just a decision taken without reason?). Can any decison we take be taken without reasoning first?

Sorry, I don't really follow.

It is interesting that we find PI in the circle (a fat boys interest anyway just kidding) it is the relationship of the diameter of the circle to its circumfrance... So far PI has not repeated or come out... circular reasoning must have more to it than meets the eye! Thus the wheel within the wheel in Ezekiel demonstrating God's relationship with us in the eternities each circle an eternity and eternities outside of that making the unbounded eternities of plausibilities as Christ said My Father can do anything! So grab your socks family you ain't seen nothing yet- compared to what is coming!!! Love Steven

Going by that logic i could believe in the pink unicorn who lives in my backyard. Anyone can choose to believe anything they want, no matter how absurd. Being alive is not evidence of God, not when there are thousands of alternate explanations. If God was tangible their wouldn't be a need for faith.

well as for me i believed there was a creator but i had no idea that i could ever know him on a " face to face" manner.

i always had a very analytical and show me first then I'll believe mindset. God knew that and what it would take to get my attention and one day completely unexpected i had a "road to Damascus experience" where the lord revealed himself to me and i am so grateful for him doing that.

Congrats then. But still I feel that people here in these forums have a strong "no others can be better than me" notion, so mind your words.
