There is no such thing as gender, gender itself is a political term. There are two sexes, men and women period. The world gender implies some sort of of the blending of men women transvestites homosexuals bi sexual and on and on, each have a "gender" thus the term LGBQT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, questioning, transvestite, and transsexual). The statement that bigape was referring to was-- Men, need to be regularly reminded of what God expects out of them, just as women need to be regularly reminded of what God expects out of them as women. The Bible clearly explains the roles of men and women, the problem I see many times is that men don't grow a set( sorry for the vague term, but it fits) and become a spiritual leader and head of the family. Which many times is forcing women to fill both the role of the man and the women, which is not what God intended. Men and woman in general have forgotten what exactly they are to be to one another, at least in the eyes of God. The push to create a society that is not allowed to see 'roles' for one another then we eventually are all sen as equal and that puts us in a dangerous position especially those of us who see defined roles, defined set of ways to live, we will be on endangered list. I agree with Oldzim, woman have been taught to 'take the lead' and men have been taught to 'let the woman be all they can be'.
