On the other hand, I admire his straight forwardness. I am liking this guy more and more.

Cain would be wise to stay out of this one. This cost Lou Ann Zelenick a congressional election here in 2010.

There comes a point when honesty and truthfulness about the threat of Islam to the US has to be more important than a political agenda.

Islam is not an innocuous religious ideaology that we can ignore.

In Islam a mosque is not viewed the same way a Christian views a church or a Jew views a synagogue. In the eyes of Islam, a mosque is a claim to property taken in the name of allah. They view a mosque as one more piece of our sovereign nation they have taken and as such, it is now Muslim territory. Mosques carry much more powerful symbolism and speak to a goal of Islam which is to make the world "Dar-al islam" ( the house of Islam).

In Islam there is no concept of a separation of religion and government. Islam is a government. Mosques are popping up in area of the US that have no significant Muslim population, if any at all. Even the Cordova House Mosque proposed to be built near Ground Zero in Manhattan is being built in an area of New York city that has no Muslims. Most of the people in that are are Irish Catholics and Jews. Muslims would have to drive by dozens of mosques where they live to attend services at the proposed Cordova House mosque. When mosques are being built in locations that do not have a Muslim population sufficient to justify such a building and when these mosques are being spun as "community centers" and stuff, it should raise some red flags.

Former Muslims like Anis Shorrosh and Walid Shoebat have been warning us about these things for years, and we don't listen.

In the first place we are not talking about a mosque, so that is misreporting. It is a community center.
It contains a mosque, so yes we are talking about a mosque. They tried to call the Cordova Mosque a community center up in Manahattan, but its primary function was religious, not community oriented, same as this "community center" in Murfreesboro. It is called a "community center" to make it more palatable to the community. It's not working. They don't want it there, and they should not be forced to accept it.

I was merely commenting on what happened in regards to the center in the last election.
So was I. Sometimes we need someone like Cain and others who clearly see what is happening with things like this. Others prefer to act like Islam is a harmless innocuous presence in our country, when in fact it is not.

I do not need to be educated on what a mosque is.
That was not directed at you. That was in a seaperate post was meant for the general readership. Americans are generally unaware of how Islam looks at a mosque and what it means to the religion of Islam.
