However, my short answer is that a Christian goes where led, if that is into the Army, then yes. The Army no doubt presents a lot of opportunity to minister, but one is not free in the army, one is a virtual slave. Bearing that in mind, I think it is prudent to consider if one has the strength of character, to live out Christian principles while in the Army, and not be influenced to compromise them more than would be the case in civilian life.
