Does anyone know of any popular cessationists or anyone who doesn't believe spiritual warfare is for today? The most prominent person I know of who comes to mind is John MacArthur. He is a rabid cessationist. According to him, we Christians got no spiritual power at all. I was reading a bit of his charismatic chaos book. I think I'm going to use him as a source. It's really sad to see how blinded some people can be. MacArthur was saying that if your at peace with charasmatics and concider them brothers or sisters, then you are ignoring truth. Another cessationist Peter Masters in his book The healing epidemic claims that the charasmatic movement is of the devil. I have to write a make a stand essay so I'm thinking of writing it supporting spiritual gifts, or charismatic believers in general. I'm finding alot of good sources. I would like to write on the excluded middle, but I'm finding less sources that don't believe in spiritual warfare.
