Franklin Graham: War Looms in South Sudan

By George Thomas

CBN News Sr. Reporter

Friday, January 06, 2012

The government of South Sudan has declared a disaster as thousands of people flee sectarian attacks.

Violence broke out late December between two tribes in the town of Pibor. An estimated 100,000 people fled to the surrounding countryside. A death toll is not known because officials can't gain safe access to the region.

American Red Cross volunteers are trying to reconnect 150 young children with their missing parents, but it's believed many of them were killed.

South Sudan gained independence from the North last July after more than 25 years of brutal fighting that killed more than 2 million people.

So far, the separation hasn't lead to peace and border skirmishes between the two countries threaten to bring more instability.

Rev. Franklin Graham fears South Sudan is on the brink of another war.

Graham is right on! South Sudan is being attacked by that peaceful religion of Muhammad's known as Islam. Pray tell, who else in the entire world is best known for its peaceful attacks on non-Muslims & Muslims alike? The Presbyterian Church? The Salvation Army? Grannies United?

Except this is about conflict between different ethic groups within South Sudan, which is now independent from the (mainly Muslim) North. Those involved in the fighting are a mix of Christians and animists.

I can't cut and paste on this computer, but a minute on Google will show that these skirmishes are between the Lao Muer and Murle tribes and further research that both are a mixture of Christians and animists. This is not durprising as South Sudan was established after decades of resistance by non-Musilms to domination by the Arab and Muslim North.

Dear One, As To My Brothers

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. Hebrews 13:3

And Sisters And Their Little Children

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 2 Timothy 3:12

The Nations Of Islam Seem To Work Overtime To Get Their Fair Share, You Think?

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Matthew 24:9
