He also promised there would be a blessing to us if we were persecuted: "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness's sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matt. 5:10) Well done to the Priest, .... he shall have his reward. You can love God with all your heart and still struggle with a form of sin. This is probably going to sound like a ridiculous question, but I do not feel it is. What if there was a person who was known to openly struggle with anger or swearing in the congregation? What if he or she desired to take part in communion?
