For the past seven years Pastor Terry Sartain has ministered to police officers and their families in Charlotte, N.C. Whenever the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept. invited him to deliver an invocation, he prayed in "the name of Jesus." But not anymore.

well spotted. What was his reaction? Mine would be I have been a citizen for decades and paid taxes so under the Human Rights Act article 18 I am free to

..

"either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance"

I would have said the person who is making the statement, Major John Diggs isnt fit for purpose.

These people need to be told

Could the one world religion be state mandated in origin?

Yeah. But it's only as valid as people's willingness to go along.

This isn't new. Back in first-century Jerusalem, authorities told the apostles not to speak in the name of Jesus. They basically told the authorities to stick it.

Yes.

They didnt listen to the authroities, they listened to the Holy Spirit. That mean't that for example Paul and Silas continued to preach and got beaten up and put into prison where they were able to reach the jailer and his family. But they were treated contrary to Roman law, her we have people trying to enforce human rights contrary to what human right say. One cant reason with unreasonable people, a blind man cannot see what he is being shown.

Lift the Holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ high above all names whether at a police opening-prayer session or at a State-sponsored convention. And send a free New Tstament to the major officials involved. In all things, let the Lord Jesus Christ be publicly praised! He IS Lord of all!

i wonder what it is in florida, but this really old news. chaplains in the army cant pray in his name unless its a service where the troops come willingly and arent ordered to attend.
