Mark 10:27 Pray that God soften hearts to receive Him. We pray this a lot for unsaved loved ones. We know we are praying according to His will, because he wills all men to come to repentance. We pray the promises. EZ 18:31 Cast away from you all your trangressions which you have committed and make yourself anew heart and a new mind. We are told that Pharoh hardened his heart 7 times then God hardened his heart. We can't know when that happens, only God knows when the person is beyond repentance. But we are told in Heb.. 3:15 that today, if your hear His voice, do not harden your hearts. If people can still hear God, it is not too late. A seared conscience seems to be something else. It is, I think, when they have become so hardened that God has given them over to wickedness and sin. But i do know people who have been saved out of the pit of Romans 1:28-32. . The only people beyond God's reach seem to be those who have rejected the love and saving grace of Holy Spirit till they die. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, attibuting His life giving work to satan, seems to be the ultimate hardness of heart. But again, only God knows our hearts.
