York fights Leicester for the right to bury Richard III

5 February 2013 Last updated at 14:28

A row has erupted between York and Leicester about which city has the right to bury Richard III's remains

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21341535

Posting this link to with a video on the page , don't know if in the USA you will be able to see it but if you can; it should be more interesting for you than just reading about the find.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21322243

but wasn't Richie the III of the house of York?

The problem has arisen because exhumation of the body was only granted under the condition it would be re buried by August 2013 in the or near the place where it was discovered. So , Leicester want it in there Cathedral which is about 500 mt up the road.

If you listen to the video on the BBC link it explains the other bones of contempt. ( sorry for the pun)

does anyone know if his body has been reburied?

Maybe somewhere more fitting for a King?

It has to be re buried by August 2013, hence the controversy if you scroll up and read :)

Yes, I agree 100%. Words of wisdom.

So many threads , so many to look at , read and ponder.

What makes Worthy great is that it unites us , brings us close together on a common ground , Jesus!

A Ministry.

Yet we can fellowship together on threads like this and share our thoughts; no anger, no drama,

just pure information shared and enjoyed by those that participate and have a common interest in the subject.

Thank you "Yank" ( :help: ) for starting for what, some of us think is an interesting topic.
