While all the 'facts' were before them, God caused them to be blinded to the obvious truth that Jesus Himself fulfilled hundreds of scriptural prophecies about Him. Yup; and this was when the church was a central part of every life; well, virtually every life. The "church" didn't exist when Jesus walked this earth. I am failing to see how your response fits the comment made. The Church--as separated from 'the religion'--could be argued to have existed; but I was referring to the Est'd church there, anyway, meaning that people were much more centrally connected with 'church' then, physically, and--it might be assumed--spiritually; so how might our understanding--as a body--compare to theirs then. Byrd, you really need to work on communicating better.

The answer to the original question is right here in the 2nd post. I agree with Nebula's response. Yep, I agree with that!

Byrd, you really need to work on communicating better. I really am! I agree that this is a problem of mine; has something to do with codependence, assuming that what I know everyone else knows, and so surely they get me, lol. But I'm not sure how I got confusing there, a clue would be nice, ty. "That is the church I am talking about; the temple." No one thinks of the Temple nor the religion of the Jews when they hear the word "church". "Church" is a word of German-Celtic origin that has been used to apply solely to Christian buildings of worship and the Christian religion. What you are referring to is is a religion that is a mixture of the Torah (Law of Moses - or given to Moses, rather) and rabbinical oral laws (the "traditions" that Jesus spoke against).
