Without getting into a big todo over the details I think they almost have to just by the place they have in History and the way the Bible speaks about that part of the world. It will be A seat of world power as the seat of America's world power is systematically being pulled our from under us... but it's the few who are behind these trends that the focus should be on, not their puppets. I see lots of people get on and say "this is the revived roman empire" from thee EU to the catholic church, to the us and even china, and I have yet to see anyone prove it biblically. "And one of the heads of the beast seemed to be fatally wounded and the deadly wound was healed and the world marvelled at the beast" (Revelation 13:3). The wounded head is the Roman Empire. You have a verse describing a wounded head, and a wikipedia link describing the EU. I don't mean to be rude, but so what? What connects that to the EU? For that matter, what makes the roman empire the wounded head? Where is the connection? Just saying it doesn't make it so. You need to describe using scripture and logic what makes Rome the wounded head, and what makes the EU the revived roman empire. Otherwise this will just be another he said/she said argument, which goes nowhere, you need to actually describe why you think the way you do. And as of today, Middle east  and Empire are not mentioned in the same sentence. As far as rebuilding empires, that's a far stretch since they seem to be going in reverse, with all the fighting and civil wars.  The likelihood of a world leader emerging (accepted by non middle eastern countries) from the middle east is a bit remote (Key for the Anti Christ to ascend into a global leadership position).  However when considering Europe, the three countries that are also identified with the beast noted in scripture are definitely in rebuilding their respective empires. Germany,Great Britain, and Russia are all rebuilding from prior wars.  The Church is also on the decline in Europe and has been for many years, hence a Pope from South America.  The whole Islam hysteria is just something to replace Communism.  Just thinking out loud here Edited November 30, 2013 by Enoc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
