Guest DRS81
For example, say Bob lives a holy life for 10 good years in Christ. Then he suddenly falls into a willful sin. It's a small sin but regardless it was willful. One day he goes to the grocery store. The store gets robbed, and the gunman shoots Bob in the head before Bob can repent. Bob the believer is still on his way to heaven. How do you know that? Where in the bible does it state that we are free to commit sin? Where does it say that sinners go to heaven? There is nowhere in the Bible that says we are free to commit sin. You are asking that because that is what you believe OSAS is saying, and that's simply not true. However, the believer has already been forgiven (past/present/future sins) at the cross when he accepted Jesus into his heart. Eph 1:13-14 and Romans 8:1 is a good start. Guest DRS81
The loss of your salvation is permanent but the security of your salvation is permanent? The loss of rewards at the Bema seat might happen, but security in your salvation on this old earth is permanent.

Guest man
Ephesians 1 13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. So you believe this passage gives you authority to commit willful sin?

So you believe this passage gives you authority to commit willful sin? No, again you're asking that because that's what you believe. You're adding more to the doctrine OSAS that isn't there. It's simply stating the security of our salvation.

My bad. The 1 kinda stuck in my head. Ok, let's look at this. Romans 8 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Willful sin is walking according to the flesh.
