well I know its a love song but I got confused about the line I'll Be love suicide. I don't get that. I have the soundtrack with this song on it and I didn't get what it means.

"Ill Be Love Suicide"... hmmmmmm... what can that mean? You'll ensure that love kills itself? You need to take some of these lyrics in some music with a grain of salt because "Ill Be Love Suicide" probably sounded really really cool to the person who wrote the lyrics to this song

*shrugs* I agree with lauren.. sometimes lyrics just don't make sense. I'm not getting what my husband thinks it means out of the song... but... maybe he's more in touch with that stuff than I am.. lol

I am a poet/songwriter and this song is extremely deep and BEAUTIFUL!!!

He begins to talk about her green eyes that he first falls for, takes his breath away, and makes him feel like flying. He wants her to trap him because he is surrendering to her utterly without a fight as he contiunes to say that he'd be willing to die within the depths of his love for her not just when he talks about suicide but when he says "instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above". As love can be scary when its that deep but he'd prefer to die for her then death from heatache. He contiunes on verse 2 to say that he's bitter from what happened in his past love life (rain falls angry on the tin roof) but she is his proof that he is not all lost, yet, that he still is capable of such love. Verse 3 means he has been burned in love before, he gave up on it, but by his memories of the words she's said to him he's fought his way back to trusting love again. So therefore, he's her greatest fan because he made him believe again : )
