You don't have to accept it if you dislike it. DISCLAIMER: I am not a christian. It would depend. If you're celebrating a monumental achievement like winning gold in the olympics, I would celebrate for several months. If you're celebrating the winning of your weekly bowling game, I would celebrate for about 15 minutes. I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with celebrating more than once.
