This article deals not only with the group of fighters for the freedom of Israel known from *Josephusas the "Zealots," but includes in its survey other groups with similar aims, particularly the Sicarii.

 

Judea differed from the other provinces in the east of the Roman Empire in that it never resigned itself to Roman rule and did not willingly become integrated into the Imperial system. From the beginning of the Roman conquest its history was one of bitter struggle accompanied by revolts against the Imperial power. Although there were revolts in the Western parts of the Empire too (in Britain and Gaul and by the Batavi), these were not as frequent and they generally occurred in the early stages of Roman occupation and on the frontiers of the Empire. This empire was the complete antithesis of the spiritual conception and way of life of the Jews, and the tension found its resolution in the strengthening of a messianic-eschatological faith at the center of which stood the hope of the revival of the glory of Israel and the downfall of "the kingdom of arrogance." The intensity of this feeling and these yearnings increased with the passage of time and was nurtured by the deterioration in relations between the Roman administration of the province, which gave its support to non-Jewish elements and based itself on them, and the Jews, as well as by the spiritual and social developments within the Jewish community itself. In the year 66 C.E. the great majority of the people supported the revolt against the procurator Florus, some enthusiastically and some with reservations; only a minority, such as *Agrippa II, were prepared to employ force to suppress the uprising while it was still in its initial stages. The ferment, however, was provided by certain groups among the Jews which developed a specific and definite ideology of objection in principle to Roman suzerainty. A tenet of Islam is that both Mohammed and Jesus of Nazareth were both Muslims. Islam says both were prophets sent by Allah. If this were true, then it is mandatory that these two great prophets must coincide exactly in all points and never contradict each other. Did not the same Allah send both of them? Then, aren't even the smallest of contradictions between the two, very big red flags? And there are a great many, which you will see below. Christianity and Islam are necessarily forever diametrically opposed to one another, just as evil and good are. Oral confession of the deity of Jesus Christ is prerequisite to becoming a Christian (Romans 10:9-10). To a Muslim, this is blasphemy. To a Christian it is blasphemy to not attribute divinity to Jesus the Christ. The New Testament could not be clearer on this subject. The heart, core and soul of Christianity is allegiance to Jesus Christ as God, Lord, and Savior! So, What's The Beef?

The Koran plainly teaches hatred against Christians and Jews, no matter how much you want to whitewash that.  The president of the USA is a crypto-Muslim and has done everything in his power to destroy America from within.  ISIS has declared war on the West and all religions other than radical Islam.  

 

When will people wake to the reality that this is a war to the death, where the Islamists are not afraid of giving up their lives to achieve their objectives?  And there is indeed "guilt by association" by the very fact that Muslims cannot and will not speak out against the Koran and what it teaches.  We could quote chapter and verse from the Koran (which BTW every Muslim believes is superior to the Bible, just as Mohammad is superior to Jesus).

 

And this is the crux of the issue. The Muslim religion itself, founded upon the Koran and the example set by Mohammed during his life -- just as the religions of Marxism and Naziism -- teach terrorism at its/their core: that is, to kill anyone who resists its/their attempts to take over the whole world.

 

Brutal suppression of all opposition inevitably includes terrorizing people as a means to that end. And the Kingdom of the Beast will excel them all...
