If enough of them were willing go come to her defense, it might change a lot of things. Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. We were cast out, and my husband was the head deacon. They acted as though he grew another head, when he tried to reason with them/the deacon body and the pastor, in love, we were branded as rebels and wicked, because we were troubled by this "new" movement taking place, and vocalized it openly. I pray you both are blessed whatever the outcome. I would just like to say that I highly doubt that Rick Warren would condone their behavior. He doesn't state that churches/Christians should act that way and shouldn't be held responsible for the actions of those who read and/or misinterpret his work.
