Where is Jesus going to reign? and why for only a thousand years? Hi Sister, Yes those people are `priests of God & Christ,` but they are not kingpriests. Marilyn. Marilyn. Hi M, Lets be scriptural here shall we, "kingpriest" is not biblical at all .. it is but a made up term to back an assumption from private interpretation regarding a heavenly office somebody has defined by their own terms and taught as doctrine .. we can't just reject what Christ states plainly just because it doesn't use a thought up term like "kingpriest", that is not how Christ has taught us to handle His written word at all M because NOWHERE in scripture does it use the title "kingpriest" !!!!!! Christ is very clear .. Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. That is where the resurrected saints will mainly be working .. working in the restored millennial kingdom presiding over the 12 tribes of Israel as kings AND priests .. that is purely biblical and sound teaching that should not be rejected over a made up term like "kingpriest" as though it were more authoritative than Christ's written word .. please consider what your adopted position is causing you to do .. reject plain teaching from Christ Himself regarding His priests reigning on the earth over the millennial kingdom .. and no good can come out of that approach in the end. Please think about that M because it is not to put you down, but to warn you from an outside perspective looking in, that the teaching that you have adopted on this subject is NOT biblical at all, but is in fact in opposition to the plain & simple truth of the matter .. that Christ's resurrected saints WILL be priests in the millennial kingdom just as HE declares in the scriptures.
