I think I know why I love you. You remind me of a big growling dog ...who mostly just wants someone to scratch his ears. I promise to keep repeating this at the risk of being annoying until someone notices: 2 John 7: Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh; such is the deceitful one and the antichrist. 1 John 2: 22 " Who is the liar: Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist. No Catholic Pope will EVER deny that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man! If he ever does I'll be the first one to jump ship! Anyway, I think there is something missing in understanding here. If you look at the statue in Daniel's vision, the head was of gold, the chest and arms of silver, the torso of brass, the legs of iron and the feet (or was it just the toes?) of iron and clay. There is something very interesting about the metals here. As you move down the statue, the metals lose value in terms of price and worth. However, they increase in value in terms of usefulness and strength. Gold is the most precious of metals, silver next, then bronze is a halfway between precious and utility, but iron is definantly a utility metal. However, gold is the softest of metals, silver is stronger but tends to tarnish easily, brass is stronger but also tends to tarnish easily, but iron is the toughest of them all. See the difference? Such carelessness with scripture. Yes, Daniel 7 shows us the future of nations, but it is parallel with Daniel 2, the clearest of all. In Daniel 2, we see the sequence of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. That Edited April 24, 2005 by BibleStudent

The temple of God is in heaven not on earth, so when Paul refers to God's temple he couldn't have been talking about an earthly temple. I agree with mostly everything you say except one. Fifth, if the sequence in Revelation 13 is read properly, we will see that the period in which
