You can't be reading bible stories to you kids day in and day out. Some kids like action, some don't. Why not let them be kids. e

The Bible and God's Word should always come first. As I continue in my walk with Christ, I find myself not watching certain things on tv that I used to or listen to certain types of music I used to. I feel that this is God's work and He is helping me. Now don't get me wrong here, I like the LOTR and HP movies but I know fiction from fact/reality and I will never let those things come first! Obviously some of you feel reading things like HP and LOTR is wrong. I do not think there is anything wrong with it. I do agree that the bible should come first, but why can't kids read fiction? Let them choose what to read. If you don't like what they are reading, have a discussion with them about it and come to a compromise if possible. Don't tell them what and what not to read. Yup, I agree the bible should be first, but even I can only read the word for so long and I need a diversion. There are lots docos and news on the box, but I watch a one hour show every night. usually criminal investiation and phorensics and stuff like that. CSI, Cold Case and the likes. Not for littlies though, but there's plenty of entertainment for them if you take the time to look. cheers, e
