It does matter. When you know who wrote the book,  when it was written,  to whom it was written and why it was written,

Then you can unlock the message of the book. What is the prophetic revelation that the Holy Spirit wants me to know?

Do you suppose God boo booed... if it were important then it would have been in there!

Just finished Hebrews. I just feel throughout that it was the Apostle Paul who wrote it - so why has this been disputed? Greater minds than mine have decided he was not the author. Well who else would write it?

I think it was Paul and i won't be moved on that!

I am not a biblical scholar, but it seems to me the book of Hebrews has a much different tone than those letters attributed to Paul.

I agree with you that it was Paul who wrote Hebrews.

The book is so rich and such depths of prophetic revelation. Andrew Murray has written an exposition on the book titled the way into the holy of Holies

I shall look up Andrew Murray, sounds interesting. Thankyou.
