I'm just trying to figure out, how that particular commandment should not be considered "love" fulfilled. Why that one? How do you justify being partial to some of the 10 Commandments and single it out? In His Love, Suzanne

I'm not making any judgement. If you want to observe Sunday all day and set it aside I think that is fine. I just don't think it is a law so if I don't want to I don't think it should be such an issue. I'm free from all of that. When I did set aside a day, the rest of the week I listened to junk music, watched junk TV, let my Bible gather dust and then cleaned up my act for one day to pull out the christian music, turn off the TV, no work, no anything but church. I am NOT suggesting that is what you do at all. I didn't know God. Since I've been saved I don't do any of those things anymore because He has put a new desire in my heart. I just wanna be the same everyday, OK?

The Israelites couldn't just go to God, they went to a temple and they had a priest intercede for them and they didn'thave the Holy Spirit in thier hearts, they were separated, God gave them a day to refect on Him. He gave us Jesus who promised to give us rest for our souls, peace that passes understanding, and I am sure that I have to honor Him the same everyday because that is what He told me, maybe He didn't tell you that, but I asked, "What about the Sabbath?" I was so confused and He told me, "In all you do, do it to the Glory of God." and He showed me Hebrews 4 and I understood, it's "Today". Wanna read my testimony? http://www.geocities.com/wordsower03/Rest.html There is no law that says I have to esteem everyday alike, so you don't have to just because that is what I do, but then likewise, there is no law that says I can't buy a cheeseburger on Sunday! Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. And don't tell me "he chooses to!" That still does not release US from doing what is loving and right. In His Love, Suzanne
