I just now checked out the Wet Wet Wet cover of the Trogg's, Love Is All Around. Very nicely done! I had never even heard of the group before and this is what I came up with. We are still very much on topic here. This version came out in 1994 according to the Vivo video. Lovely song still to this day. Thanks for the tip! Wet Wet Wet are a Scottish soft rock band band formed in 1982. They scored a number of hits in the UK charts and around the world in the 1980s and 1990s. The band is composed of Graeme Clark (bass, vocals), Tommy Cunningham (drums, vocals), Neil Mitchell (keyboards, piano, vocals) and, since 2018, former Liberty X singer Kevin Simm. Indecently she was quite close to members of the band in question in the previous quiz. I love Working Class Hero and the Ballad of Lucy Jordan

Indeed. This would be lovely Marianne. The tune, Wild Horses was also said to be penned for her. 2 hours ago, Henry_iain said: Indecently she was quite close to members of the band in question in the previous quiz. Yes, there are some rather risque but not exactly accurate tabloid trash write ups on her. 2 hours ago, Henry_iain said: I love Working Class Hero and the Ballad of Lucy Jordan Ah. John Lennon's song from his first solo LP, Plastic Ono Band. Some bold tunes on that album. 15 hours ago, BeauJangles said: Can you name her first hit song? DebP knows this one. As Tears Go By, composed by Jagger/Richards and later performed by them. 15 hours ago, BeauJangles said: What songs were heard on the radio airwaves where are are? I could be wrong the next song heard on KONG AM but, Come Go With Me seems like a follow up. After the release of her hit single "As Tears Go By", she became an international star. Her debut album Marianne Faithfull (1965) (released simultaneously with her album Come My Way) was a commercial success followed by a number of albums on Decca Records. From 1966 to 1970, she had a highly publicised romantic relationship with Mick Jagger. Julie Andrews certainly deserves far more credit than the 5 Academy awards for her debut in Mary Poppins and the 2 for the wonderful follow up hit film, The Sound Of Music. What a marvelous person and a genuine human being. Her voice is as lovely as she is. Everything she has performed in turned to gold. Julie is true star that yet shines bright. She's one of the most charming ladies that ever hit the silver screen. Just super! Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Robert B. Sherman, Dick Van Dyke It's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even though the sound of it Is something quite atrocious If you say it loud enough You'll always sound precocious Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Because I was afraid to speak When I was just a lad Me father gave me nose a tweak And told me I was bad But then one day I learned a word That saved me aching nose The biggest word you ever heard And this is how it goes Oh, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even though the sound of it Is something quite atrocious If you say it loud enough You'll always sound precocious Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I He traveled all around the world and everywhere he went He'd use his word and all would say there goes a clever gent When dukes and Maharajahs pass the time of day with me I say my special word and then they ask me out to tea Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even though the sound of it Is something quite atrocious If you say it loud enough You'll always sound precocious Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I Um-dittle-ittl-um-dittle-I So when the cat has got your tongue There's no need for dismay Just summon up this word And then you've got a lot to say But better use it carefully Or it can change your life For example Yes? One night I said it to me girl and now me girls my wife Oh! And a lovely thing she is too. he he he She's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! It was a tender love song called, Lady Jane. Lead guitarist Brian Jones, played an Appalachian instrument known as a dulcimer. It's a simplistic four stringed musical instrument that has a beautiful droning sound. In 1971, Canadian born folk singer Joni Mitchell, also used a dulcimer in several songs on her album, Blue. Lady Jane The Rolling Stones My sweet Lady Jane When I see you again Your servant am I And will humbly remain Just heed this plea, my love On bended knees my love I pledge myself to Lady Jane My dear Lady Anne I've done what I can I must take my leave For promised I am This play is run, my love Your time has come, my love I pledge my troth to Lady Jane Oh, my sweet Marie I wait at your ease The sands have run out For your lady and me Wedlock is nigh my love Her station's right my love Life is secure with Lady Jane Brian w/Dulcimer Studio Brian w/Dulcimer Live
