I suggest only one thing.

Remember that we are all sinners saved only by God's grace on the cross.. Often times Christians get self righteous about the whole thing..

We may never partake in abortion that doesn't make us better than anyone that does. We are as much vile sinners as they are and if not for the cross we will burn in hell with them..

When it comes to crowd gatherings in conflict with one another shouting angrily with signs I see very little to no success in that. But if you come across just one person that is a great blessing and opportunity to share with and when you do, let it be from the word of God on this issue and remember the verse in Col. 4:6- Let your conversation always be full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. You’d be surprised at making a big difference in one person’s life.

My experience has taught me that trying to discuss with them is like talking to a wall. Is there anything I could try telling them? Or is it not worth bothering?

People have different mindsets, its best to find common ground and then work from there.
