Scripture has power, but that power is something activated by a human mind.

No man has seen God?
Prycejosh1987 replied to plo1988's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
You have to look at the context of the message, sometimes seeing someone face to face is an expression of intimacy and relating. Its likely that the man God wrestled with was God the Son, but not God the Father. Jesus is the fullness of God as man so we will all see Jesus, but the Father and Spirit i do not know. God is triune so it depends on Who it is depending on if we will see them face to face or not. God The Father has never been seen by a man, because He is in an unapproachable light, but Jesus, the Spirit has never been seen as a person. Jesus however, has been seen by 1000s of people. -
People say the bible is man made or that its way back when theologically, but this isnt true. Alot of people got saved near the end of their lives. Alot of people confess Christ and become a follower near death. Spirituality is consistent. Its risky to wait to near death when coming to Christ. The thief did that. But the best thing that will happen is salvation, but no reward. We want eternity to be completely blessed, doing a "thief on the cross thing" is risky.

Our God is three persons but one essence. The three always work together in unison. This is what i understand from the trinity. The Father is known to the Jews, but Christians understand Jesus and the whole new testament is reference to Him. (Jesus) To believe in the Son we believe in the Father, this is according to Jesus in gospel of John. The Holy Spirit is and has always been around, using people and prophets and kings of Israel and inspiring writers throughout Jewish history. The Holy Spirit speaks out loudest to me because He is the support system, verifying The Father and Son. Its impossible to be spiritually renewed, revived and completed without the Holy Spirit.

Why do we break all the ten commandments
Prycejosh1987 replied to TrueHebrew87's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
The short answer is love abounds everything, without the spiritual love of God we break each rule in a cycle. It just gets worse as time goes on, the cycle and potential of sin is vast. Loving God is one rule which has many avenues. and Loving others is a rule which has many avenues. -
Bibles Chapters & Verses: Were They Done Badly?
Prycejosh1987 replied to Open7's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
Well read, it means you have potential skill to be a theologian. the problem is theologians are not spiritually inspired, they see the bible as a series of stories, and get no spiritual value or insight into scripture. I am not saying you personally but typically this is what happens. The spirituality we get matters most not knowing the books or the order or even context of stories per se. -
About "Temp" jobs/employment...?
Prycejosh1987 replied to CaptWalker's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
Well a person must be likable and be seen as a good worker before being considered to be hired. You have to make yourself and them worth it. Also its good to be a faithful tither. Divine intervention on Job search and employment comes through Tithing. -
The literal temple. The curtain ripped in two means that all have ability to come to God, and not just priests.

Spiritual warfare on deathbed
Prycejosh1987 replied to ~Shalhevet~'s topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
Wrong demons can possess a christian i know that personally, because i have manifested with demons while being a christian. I would say that demons have less power over a christian than other kinds of people. Its possible to be demon possessed as it is to be a sinner. -
Anyone else ever HEAR in their dreams?

I believe dreams tell us a story from personal feelings and emotions and future prospectives. -
Worldly Intuition Vs Christian Intuition
Prycejosh1987 replied to Open7's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
The best answer a person can give is maybe. Christians and unbelievers can go through the exact same life and living. What makes the difference is mindset, but mindset doesnt change lifestyle from outside and outward perspectives. A person can be christian 40 years as a minster then leave the faith, a unbeliever can go into ministry for 40 years after being atheist. So they both tend to have similar experiences, but one left and one stayed. The Holy Spirit and His personal relationship with the person makes the difference and creates a different mindset. -
Islam says Ishmael is the chosn one of God to generate people of God. jews and Christians know it was Issac. The bible clearly says it was Issac. Islam copies the bible but adds and takes away from it. This opens up a can of worms of theology, not just in christian beliefs but in islam beliefs also.

Who is the one "taken"?
Prycejosh1987 replied to CaptWalker's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
Elijah and Enoch were raptured. If Jesus doesnt take his church before tribulation. Then what the bible says about receiving rewards at Jesus judgement and the reign on earth wouldnt make sense. Its like evangelist Robert Breaker said, why would Jesus allow satan to rule over His people and essentially take His bride and do what them what He wants when the antichrist comes on the scene. God cannot deal with His people the jews if the gentiles are still around. The rapture is a reward for faithfully serving Christ and a opportunity to be rewarded. -
How do I deal with pro choice people?
Prycejosh1987 replied to LittleMan123's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
People have different mindsets, its best to find common ground and then work from there. -
I believe the typical precepts are there such as teaching, singing songs learning scripture, and fellowship, etc. But i believe that Jesus didnt want so many different sects and theological arguments within His church. Its sad, but it might be a blessing in disguise. What works is what works, its as Paul said some have faith to eat meat and others just Veg, so its unwanted different theological sects, but was highly anticipated.

Its extremely powerful for someone to call the bible false and a farce, because it takes a developed spiritual mind to understand the texts. Only the Holy Spirit can help us understand the texts. I spoke to someone before and got frustrated because he was asking me about everything in the bible, i stopped debating with him and started teaching him. The best thing to do is seek the Holy Spirit, because even if you taught someone the whole bible it wouldnt change the level of their faith.

Interestingly Jesus sent out 70 disciples who cast out demons and performed low level miracles. They did not have the Holy Spirit to my knowledge. The Holy Spirit changes lifestyle and mentality. It changes spiritual focus and puts it all to the importance of Christ. Without the Holy Spirit we can do certain things, but who we are is defined on nature, spiritual nature, to have the Holy Spirit is to be like God in persona, and characteristic identity.

A supportive woman is a heaven on earth, a non supportive woman can be a huge problem. I believe the mother of John the baptist paved the way for his good behaviour and spirit filled life. Mothers in John the baptist and Jesus time were honored and children submitted to their parents, especially their mothers. As we can see with Jesus at the wedding. Jesus didnt want to perform the miracle of turning water into wine, but listened to His mother. Jesus also went to the temple as a 12 year old and His mother fussed at Him. He obeyed His mother. If John the baptists mother did not have The Holy Spirit it might have caused John the baptist huge problems growing up in his spiritual identity to pave the way for Christ.

The Elephant in the New Testament
Prycejosh1987 replied to Buddy D. Mouse's topic in Gifts of the Spirit
In the bible it says the Holy Spirit was on Simeon, in gospel of Luke chp 2. vs 25-27 Why didnt the bible says The Holy Spirit was IN simeon, i do not know but it seems possible for the Holy Spirit to be on someone and leading them and guiding them, and then filled with Holy Spirit is not just a leading and guidance its becoming like Christ, its living a perfect life with less sin. When Jesus breathed on His disciples i believe it was being inspiration to accept His message and preparing them for divine revelation. It was putting the Holy Spirit on them. I do believe its possible to have the Holy Spirit on us, but not in us. The Holy is God after all, and personally motivates people to follow Jesus and do Gods will.
