Is it love that sustains the relationship or the way of relating that sustains love?

I read the following statement on the internet: “It is not love that sustains the relationship, it is the way of relating that sustains love!”.

I strongly object to holding up this idea. It’s good remembering what John said:

•    “The one who does not love has not known God. For *God is love*” (1John 4.8).
•    “And we have known and believed the love that God has in us. *God is love*, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” (1John 4.16).

That is to say, it is Jesus, the Love, that stand by the relationship. It is no use trying to relate to someone when Jesus isn’t the source and maintenance of it. There is no point going out with someone when this don’t ameliorate both of the hearts.

We need to be used to interfering in the life of those Jesus give us and, at the same time, it is worth having someone tampering with our lives. It’s truth that having someone butting in on our life bothers.  Nevertheless, with humbleness and patience we will be able to see the fruits of the Holy Spirit in two lives grounded in the Love.

Have a beautiful afternoon in Christ Jesus and don't fear to make difference in the life of the one who loves you e vice-versa. It is for this that this person was put in your life and vice-versa.
