  1. Submission is a good or bad thing? The feminist movement made the women to feel shy for what, in biblical times, was considered honor. For instance, in the past, to have children was a blessing (see, for instance, how mourned Hannah in the Creator’s presence only for the privilege of becoming mother (1Sam 1:9-11) and how Elisabeth felt when she conceived John, the Baptist (Luke 1:25)). Today, many people consider maternity a disease. It suffices to see the great quantity of women who make use of contraceptive and huge quantity of abortions carried out in the world. But the worst thing is the disdain of the feminists for the gift of submission. When the Holy Scripture says that wife ought to be acquiescent to her husband, this sounds as a crime, a heinous teaching proclaimed by the religious institutions. Nonetheless, submission is one of the great gifts of the Creator to the women. In Song 8:5 we can see the outcome of submission: Shulamite found peace (Song 8:10) resting in the Creator leaned in her husband (such as Sarah, through submission to Abraham, was able to not fear anything that was frightening – 1Peter 3:6). For you understanding what is submission, imagine you doing a long journey by car through a road fraught of beautiful and delightful landscapes. The passenger can rest enjoying each detail of the landscape (sky, birds, animals, vegetation) while eat and drink something scrumptious. If the passenger gets tired, he can sleep. If the car gets a flat tire, the responsibility of changing the tire is of the driver. If there's a police operation, it's the driver who needs to be accountable answering the police questions. It is the driver who needs to care about the crazy and bad drivers, as well as swerve from the hindrances in the road. In short: the only thing that the passenger needs to do is enjoy the trip, especially if road is in perfect state and the car is luxurious. All the predicaments are to be sorted out by the driver, who, in addition, can’t enjoy deeply the landscape. The only thing that can preclude this travel to be a paradisiac moment is the driver. Well, in the kingdom of the Creator, the car symbolizes Jesus (we need to be inside Him) and the road, the Holy Scripture. Therefore, if the woman stays in Jesus obeying His commandments, the only thing that can hamper her to live a quiet, peaceful and pleasant travel during her peregrination along this world is the person that she will choose to drive her until Jesus call her to account for her actions. If the single woman bides with patience in Jesus (Ps 40:1) until He leads her toward the future husband that He prepared for her, certainly she will be extremely relish submitting to his love without any uneasiness. So, have a good day going over this message and, to the women I say: 1 – If you are single, pray so that Jesus can bring to you someone much wiser than you and that love you as Jesus loved him and you. So, you will be able to enjoy the privilege which comes with the submission. 2 – If you are married and your husband isn’t savvy, pray to Jesus so that the wisdom in his life outdoes yours. If your faith is pure, Jesus will answer your prayer: • Jas 1:5-7 -> “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;”. Can you be sure: it is better your husband to be full of Jesus’ wisdom and you give in on it than belittle the gift of submission and rebel against the Creator’s plan trying to take over the control of your home. In the end, your home will be the outset of the hell (which will become your eternal home for rejecting Jesus’ plan). Furthermore, considering that the Creator’s plans can’t be thwarted (Job 42:2; Isa 43:13), as the Creator established the husband as head of the home, it is his ideas and plans which will prevail. Finally, although is extremely important and needful that the woman increases in faith, glory, grace and wisdom (Prov 14:1), she should seek out in Christ that her husband can always increase even more in all of it. So, she won’t find any problem with the submission and, thus, she will be a great woman of the Creator, wife and mother (exactly what she really needs to be). So, to you woman, that this day can show to you the importance of being woman and of not letting anybody make you forget that you are special exactly because you are who you are. You don’t need to change to please someone (unless the Holy Spirit desire to work in you His cleanness for salvation of yours, of your family and of people close to you – Phil 2:12,13; Titus 3:4-6).
  2. Why the Shulamite was praised as “terrible as an army with banners”. What is the importance of this to us? In Song 6:4,10, Shulamite was considered terrible as an army with banners. This sounds like antic to a woman. If it was an encomium to the husband, this would be very comprehensible, for this would denote boldness, strength, wisdom. Nonetheless, an army with banners is an army which, although made up of several tribes, all of them are perfectly organized and united in one manner of thinking and feeling (1Cor 1:10). But, why not only one banner (that is to say, only one tribe)? Because the purport of the Creator never was only one person reigning over millions of people. Recollect that, since the beginning, the Creator enjoined people to go all around the world (Gen 1:28). The idea was people spreading along all the Earth, with many people leading few people (and not the opposite) and each people respecting the other peoples and cooperating with them in Christ Jesus. Try to fancy a great army comprised of several peoples and they caring for each other in a perfect organization and harmony. This brings terrors to everyone who yearn for making some harm to the people who are under the protection of this army. So, if the wife can welcome all of those who Jesus brings to her husband and copes with them as a general who knows every soldier, knows the right position of everyone (as well as the suitable weapons to each one) and is able to make them organized in an intimate family, she will look terrible to the attacks of Ha-Satan and his servants. Her home will be secure and a blessing. It's good to recall that Deborah overcame the war when she welcomed all Israel’s people (most of them were part of Israel’s army) as her children (Judge 5:7). It’s not in vain that Paul said: • 1Ti 2:15 -> “Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”. So, have a good day welcoming all different people in Christ Jesus and seeking harmonizing them so that, together, you all can seek Jesus: • 1Jn 1:3 -> “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”.
  3. What is the best church? Many people think that the Creator delights in seeing many believers meeting in one place to praise Him. Nonetheless, since the outset, the Creator designed that the men spread on the Earth and fill it. And Jesus confirmed this, enjoining the believers to go abroad preaching the gospel to all creature (Mat 28:18-20; Mark 16:15). When someone tried to get together people in one place in order to glorify the Creator and reach the heaven, the aftermath was the confusion of tongues (Gen 11:4). You can think: what is the problem with great religion institutions? To exemplify, try to imagine a religion institution of 5.000 members. How many active members are there? About ten (the pastor, the musicians and some helpers). Nevertheless, and if these 5.000 members met in 500 houses in groups of ten? Certainly, all the ten will be active, as it was in Corinth: • 1Co 14:26 -> “How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.”. Not to mention that, all of these 10 members would know each other very well and, with the unction of the Holy Spirit, they would have condition of being a perfect and united family, while in mega religion institutions, people go to there and, most of the times, they not even know the person who sit at their side. Although thousands of people can be together, there is no communion and compassion between them. The idea is that we can be the Holy Spirit’s temple (1Cor 3:16; 6:19; 2Cor 6:16) and people that Jesus brings to us, the stones that will make up Jesus’ Church in us (1Peter 2:5-8). These people in our life should accompany us along the day (not only two or three times a week tonight). In other words, each man should work in Christ with their wife, children and these believers, as a united family, until they get the maturity in faith (see Eph 4:11-16). When this day arrives, each one of these believers will become Jesus’ Church with their members and Jesus will send newborns in faith in order to get their discipleship. And each man, with his family and believers working together in perfect harmony (similar to what we can read in Acts 4:32) to supply their needs makes up the true Church of Christ. So, have a good day being Jesus’ city edified on the mount (Mat 5:14-16).
  4. What is the target of our ministry? Jesus is not interested in our achievements, but in the fruit of the Holy Spirit that we beget while we carry out His works. We were induced to believe that the end justifies the ways, but Jesus is the beginning, the end (Rev 22:13) and the Way (John 14:6). Everything needs to start in Jesus, walk in Jesus and finish in Jesus (Rom 11:36). The outcome is important. Nonetheless, as important as the aftermath is the way how we reach this result. Try to fancy if we were able to reach a great and perfect result encroaching the principles of the Holy Scripture. We would be glorifying Ha-Satan and his methods, exactly as the Antichrist will do. Many people misunderstand Ha-Satan, thinking that what he likes the most is to bring misfortunes to people. No! His first goal is to proof that someone can be successful without Jesus and His teachings. If he or someone can yield something good, perfect and acceptable without the work of the Holy Spirit or following other laws, teachings, etc., outright apart from the Holy Scripture, Ha-Satan will reach his target: to prove that Jesus and His Word are mere accessories (one god and one way, instead of the only and true God and the unique Way, Truth and Life – John 14:6). The outcome is secondary, once that, don’t mind how marvelous can seem our attainments, nothing of this can be comparable with what Jesus did and prepared for us (see 1Cor 2:9). For instance, don’t mind how beautiful can be a song indited by us and sung for a chorus comprised by the most sweet and magnificent voices of the world, certainly the heavenly melodies sung in the heaven are exceedingly prettier. So, what people needs to see to recognize “who Jesus is” is the perfect union that there is between the members of the chorus: • Joh 13:34,35 -> “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”. Furthermore, the Holy Scripture is clear: • Pro 10:22 -> “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”. • Jas 1:16 -> “Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”. So, have a good day staying only where you can manifest the love and compassion for your neighbor as if they were one with you. May our body be the Jesus’ Church and people around us, the members of this Church to accompany us in all moments of our life in according to what Jesus wishes to work in us (see 1Peter 2:5-8).
  5. Do we yearn for being free to love Jesus and express this love? What we ought to desire is freedom to love Jesus and to express that love. But, how can we get that freedom? We need to get free of all thought, feeling, desire that occupy Jesus’ place in our heart. We need to ask to ourselves: why do we crave for something? It is only for our pleasure or because this can make us more capable of helping someone and glorify Jesus’ name? Take heed in what Jesus said: • Luk 9:25 -> “For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?”. Many times, we will end up losing ourselves (losing our identity and soul) if our prayers are listened. Hence Jesus said: • Luk 9:23 -> “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”. I know that this is harsh. Nonetheless, the only way to love Jesus as He delights is following these three principles: • denying ourselves -> giving up our feelings, thoughts, desire and plans; • taking up our cross daily -> accepting the circumstances which Jesus bring to us (even if this implies in becoming a curse – Gal 3:13) so that people can know Him through us. • following Him -> Hearing His voice and abiding by it. Beyond this, we need to belong only to Jesus, without any utility to the world (and vice-versa): • Gal 6:14 -> “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”. In other words, don’t mind what we do: • 1Co 10:31 -> “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”. For us, the important is Jesus to be glorified, regardless the circumstance that we need to go through so that this can take place: • Php 1:29 -> “For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;”. The only way to overcome the world and Ha-Satan is with our faith in Jesus (1John 5:3) to the point of not loving our life in this world (Mat 10:39): • Rev 12:11 -> “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”. We need not to consider our life in this world as precious: • Act 20:24 -> “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”. As Paul, we need to be ready to suffer what is necessary for Jesus’ glory: • Act 21:13 -> “Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”. • Php 1:20,21 -> “According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”. I know that all of this is hard to hear. Nonetheless, Jesus was clear: • Mat 6:24 -> No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”. So, if we desire to be free to love Christ and express it, we need to empty ourselves of all our plans and desires, so that Christ can be all in us. Without this, even if we were able to love Christ, we wouldn’t be free to express this love because we would be divided between Him and our delights.
  6. Certainly the Holy Scripture is complete and is perfect.
  7. How to sort out the problems? All the things that take place here is a shadow of our spiritual situation in heaven. See, for instance, in the trial of Job (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-6; Dan 10:12,13; Zech 3:1-3). Therefore, we need to occupy the position that Jesus conquered for us in the heavenly regions: • Eph 2:6 -> “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”. Specially because it is there where our blessing is: • Eph 1:3 -> “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”. Therefore: • Col 3:1,2 -> “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” But, how to fulfill this? Don’t get engrossed on your predicaments, look at Jesus firmly (Heb 12:1), that is to say: 1 – Don’t try to solve your problems alone. First, make amends with Jesus. When you are right before His eyes and you have learnt all the lesson that He wishes to teach you (and, if you allow, to receive everything that He desires to impart you), the things will get right (Prov 3:5-8; Ps 37:4-7). 2 – Don’t look at the circumstances that are surrounding you; pay attention to whom is close to you (Jesus or Ha-Satan?). If you are with Christ, even if all the circumstances are unfavorable, you will find joy and will be more than conqueror. See the example of: • Peter and John (Acts 5:40,41); • Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25,26); • The brothers of Thessalonica (2Cor 8:1-5); • Many Hebrew believers (Heb 10:32-34); Not to mention the promises (Isa 43:1-5). On the other hand, if we are in sin (and with Ha-Satan), we never will find peace, even if Jesus put His peace in our hands (inasmuch as we won’t know to value it): • Isa 57:19-21 -> “I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”. So, have a good day seeking to be in peace with Jesus, loving His company, doing all His will and it will be fulfilled the promise below: • Rom 8:28 -> “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
  8. Do ministry of praise exist? Many people, taking into consideration some excerpts of the Old Testament (without observing their context), ingress in the career of gospel singer supposing that, thus, they are praising and worshipping the Creator. Nonetheless, did you already observe the instruction in the New Testament about praise? • Eph 5:18-20 -> “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”. We need to fill *each other* with the Holy Spirit, speaking to *each other* with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. That is to say, the focus of this excerpt is communion between two (or three believers – Mat 18:20). The idea is that two believers keep in touch with each other knowing and helping one another in all moments, counting on the help on a third person in case of some misunderstanding. When one believer sees that the other one is going through some tribulation, this believer can sing a hymn that convey the right message which can serve of solace (see 2Cor 1:3-5). And, in this process, both will be filled of the Holy Spirit. If all believers follow this process, we will have a Church perfectly united each other and with Christ (as Paul instructed in Eph 4:15,16). Note that the hymn isn’t a moment of leisure or recreation, but an instrument to touch the soul of the afflicted, distressed, etc. In some cases, although Jesus’ message is extremely powerful, music can be necessary to touch the soul. It is, then, that the hymns need to be singed. Therefore, ministry of praise doesn’t exist (as if this was a specific office or role). Everyone ought to be prepared to sing a hymn when this is necessary to reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine (2Tim 4:2). Praise isn’t a session of the cult, but a ministration of one believer in the life of other one at the right moment, in the right way. So, have a great day using the music to communicate peace and Jesus’ message to the soul of those who need an especial resource so that Jesus’ Word can be ingrafted in their soul more effectually.
  9. There is no good, justifiable or innocent lie! Ha-Satan is the father of all lie (John 8:44), regardless its size to our eyes! • “Lying lips are hateful to Jehovah, but those who deal truly are His delight.” (Pro 12:22) When we speak in sin, the first thing that we think is on heinous crime. Nevertheless, did you peruse the Holy Scripture in order to see how the lie is seen before the Creator? 1 – He belittle and abhor the liar and promised to destroy them: • "You shall destroy those who speak lies; Jehovah will despise the bloody and deceitful man.” (Psa_5:6); • "These six Jehovah hates; yea, seven are hateful to his soul: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,” (Pro_6:16-17); 2 – The liar are the tail of the Red Dragon: • " The elder and honorable, he is the head; and the prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.” (Isa_9:15); • “And another sign was seen in the heavens. And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads! And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them onto the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman being about to bear, so that when she bears he might devour her child. ” (Rev 12:3,4) 3 – The liar won’t enter into the Kingdom of Heaven: • "But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev_21:8); • " But outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes a lie.” (Rev_22:15). And the worst is that most of the people delight in such lies: • "And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls that should not die; and to save alive the souls that should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies.” (Eze 13:19); • “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so, and what will you do at the end of it?” (Jer 5:31); • “For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap up teachers to themselves according to their own lusts, tickling the ear. And they will turn away their ears from the truth and will be turned to myths.” (2Tim 4:3,4) The lie can look sweet, but only will make many people go astray and cheat on themselves: • " Because with lies you have saddened the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and have made the hands of the wicked strong, so that he should not turn from his wicked way, by promising him life;” (Eze_13:22); So, have a fine day abiding by the commandment given by Paul: • “Therefore I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead according to His appearance and His kingdom, preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.” (2Tim 4:1,2).
  10. Do you crave for being full of the boons of Jesus? First empty yourself (Phil 2:5-8), otherwise, this will be your perdition (see 2Chr 26:15-16). • “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways, but a good man from himself.” (Pro 14:14) When we read this verse, at first, we tend to think that this is a good thing. Nevertheless, how it is the way of all human being? • "For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness. None calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth; they trust in vanity and speak lies. They conceive mischief and bring out iniquity. They hatch adders' eggs and weave the spider's web; he who eats their eggs dies, and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper. Their webs shall not become clothing, nor shall they cover themselves with their works; their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and ruin are in their paths. They did not know the way of peace, and there is no judgment in their paths. They have made crooked paths for themselves; whoever goes in them shall not know peace." (Isa 59:3-8). Therefore, if we eat the fruit of our own way, we will suffer extremely: • “No evil shall happen to the just, but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. ” (Pro 12:21). • “and they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own desires.” (Pro 1:31) Did you already think what it means to be filled with our mischievous desires, to be delivered to them? • "And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, perfidious, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them." (Rom 1:28-32). Imagine to be filled of all of this. How the heart of the man is insatiable (Prov 27:20), the more he involves in this, the more he aches for practicing such things and getting their aftermaths. Nonetheless, if we forgo our way and stay with the Creator in the True Way (see Prov 3:5,6), certainly we will have a heart whose desire is worthy of being satisfied (Ps 37:4). Many times, we complain with the Creator when He didn't answer favorably to our prayers. Nevertheless, imagine the Creator anointing our head and making us to overflow all this filthiness (Ps 23:5). What do we desire? The reward that the Creator will give to Great Babylon? • "Reward her as she has rewarded you, and double to her double, according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix double to her." (Rev 18:6). So, if you crave for double portion of the Holy Spirit (and, of course, the blessings that come from this), get ready to the responsibilities that result from this. Have alacrity to see the works of the Creator, even when they aren't what we yearn for seeing (2King 2:9,10; John 14:28; 16:6). Have a great day staying in Jesus' justice and the true evil will be veered from you (Prov 12:21).
  11. Why to dally on imagining evil? This deceit can make us eat Ha-Satan’s dish! • “Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.” (Pro 12:20). With so many good things to learn and keep in mind in order to be useful in Jesus’ hands, why to waste time imagining things that only will dirt and hurt our soul and spirit? Eve ate of the prohibited fruit because she “saw” (imagined) that something good could come outside the Creator: • “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasing to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make wise, she took of its fruit, and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” (Gen 3:6) People condemned Jesus just because they imagined vain things: • “who by the mouth of Your servant David has said, "Why did the nations rage and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His Christ."” (Act 4:25,26). In Proverbs, the person is made into what they imagine: • “for as he thinks in his heart, so is he; Eat and drink, he says to you, but his heart is not with you.” (Pro 23:7). In Psalms 135.15-18 it is said that the person turns into the images that they idolize: • “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see; they have ears, but they do not hear; they have noses, but they do not smell; they have hands, but they do not handle; they have feet, but they do not walk; they do not mutter through their throat. The ones who make them are like them, and everyone who trusts in them.” (Psalms 115:5-8). So, don’t allow the deceit make you to lose your time with evil people or things that not even deserve to have a little room in your heart. Be a counsellor of peace in Christ and have a good day walking with your beautiful feet (Rom 10:15) on on serpents and scorpions, and over all the authority of the enemy (Luke 10:19). With a pure and holy heart, nothing shall by any means hurt you.
  12. The tongue and our time of permanence. Many times, we let us to be caught for the same thing that the wicked fear. However, it is good to recall that the fear of man brings a snare to our soul (Prov 29:25): • “Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: *preserve my life from fear of the enemy*.” (Psa 64:1). Hence Isaiah to say: • “Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; *neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid*.” (Isa 8:12). Perhaps you are asking: “what kind of snare the human fear can bring to us?” See below: • “Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the *workers of iniquity*: who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: that they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.” (Psa 64:2-4). When we are angry at someone, we tend to make use of words (this when we don’t employ brute force) to shoot against their heart. Even if they deserve the evil, recollect what Jesus said: “…for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (Mat 26:52). And Paul completed saying that everything that the man sow, this he will reap (Gal 6:7). And can you be sure that Jesus is seeing everything! • “They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?” (Psa 64:5) Therefore, be wise and sturdy only for what is good. Don’t teach your tongue to speak lies, nor weary yourself commit iniquity (Jer 9:5): • “They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.” (Psa 64:6) Remember what Isaiah prophesied: • “The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. *Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?* He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, *that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil* ;” (Isa 33:14,15). Besides, see what it happens to those whom misuse their tongue: • “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.” (Psa 64:7) • “The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.” (Pro 12:19). So, if you pine for a good week and long for being established, not only for a moment, but forever, use your tongue only to say the Truth, that is to say, what you heard of Jesus (see Jer 23:22). Maybe you ask: “but, and if Jesus doesn’t speak to me?”. In this case, make amends with Jesus urgently (repent and convert to Him – see 1Sam 14:37,38) because only His Word can bring salvation and make things really to happen. Don’t conform yourself in not hearing Jesus’ voice! This isn’t normal! Stay in Jesus and His grace and peace. Good day.
  13. The power of the tongue (Part 2) • “There are those who speak like the thrusts of a sword, *but the tongue of the wise heals*.” (Pro 12:18) The tongue of the wise, on the other hand, can bring healing, ken, light and food: • “The tongue of the just is as choice silver; the heart of the wicked is worth little. The lips of the righteous feed many; but fools die for lack of wisdom.” (Pro 10:20) • “The lips of the righteous send forth knowledge, but the heart of the foolish is not so.” (Pro 15:7) • “And those who understand among the people shall teach many; yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by exile, and spoil, for days.” (Dan 11:33) • “And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the sky; and those who turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever.” (Dan 12:3). Hence a faithful ambassador of Christ, as choice silver, to be health: • “A wicked messenger falls into mischief, but a faithful ambassador is health.” (Pro 13:17) Or, if you prefer, a branch of the Tree of Life: • “In the midst of its street, and of the river, from here and from there, was the Tree of Life, which bore twelve fruits, each yielding its fruit according to one month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Rev 22:2) See how important can be the words: • “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” (Pro 16:24) Nevertheless, although pleasant words are good, we can’t overlook the verse below: • “And He had seven stars in His right hand, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword. And His face was like the sun shining in its strength.” (Rev 1:16) And this sword is the own Jesus’ word: • “For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Heb 4:12) His action can be seen below: • "For He makes sore, and binds up; He wounds, and His hands make whole." (Job 5:18). That is to say, many times we need to minister words that, at first moment, can hurt, but afterwards, will yield salvation, as we can see below: • "For even if I grieved you in the letter, I do not regret; if indeed I did regret; for I see that that letter grieved you for an hour. Now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you grieved to repentance. For you were grieved according to God, so that you might suffer loss by nothing in us. For the grief according to God works repentance to salvation, not to be regretted, but the grief of the world works out death." (2Co 7:8-10). So, have a good day saying pleasant words (see Col 4:6), that is to say, words that uncover the iniquity, in order to turn away the captivity of Ha-Satan in the life of people around you (Lam 2:14). After if they hear the Truth, it can be that they turn from their evil way and from their evil doings (Jer 23:22) and, thus, experience the good, pleasant and perfect will of the Creator (Rom 12:2).
  14. What are we seeking? Where is our focus? Most of the people look on normal to spend days, weeks, months, caring about only the things of these world. Nonetheless, see what Paul said: • Col 3:1-3 -> “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”. We should be engrossed on the things of heaven. For you taking in this: - One thing is we take heed only in the circumstances that circumscribe us and seek in Jesus what is necessary to surmount it, as if the objective is only learn from Christ how powerful He is and that He is at our side in all circumstances. Although this can be important, - Other different thing is we fix our eyes in Christ (Heb 12:2) and in what He conquered for us (1Cor 2:9; Eph 1:3; 2Pet 1:3), that is to say, focus on the virtues of the Holy Spirit (shown in His fruit – Gal 5:22), in the beauty of His holiness and purity (Ps 29:2; 96:9), and yearn for these things in our life, to the point of cope with all the circumstances that Jesus brings to us making use only of His Power and Word (see Zec 4:6). In other words, each circumstance pass to be considered an opportunity to have intimacy with Jesus, contemplate Him using His Power to confirm His Word and grant us victory, making us increase in the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Saying this of other way, we should ask: what can I learn of Jesus and have of His character ingrafted in me through what I am going through? It’s good to recollect what Jesus said: • Mat 6:19-21 -> “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”. So, have a good day being able to see the richness of Jesus’ grace, to the point of considering them an excellent treasure to be sought out and laid up in heaven. From this moment, your heart will stay in heaven forever and ever and, thereby, you will be free of the curse of the sin (Rom 6:23).
  15. To whom will the Creator never despise? 1 – someone with a broken and contrite heart, that is to say, able to recognize their sin, repent and convert to Jesus: • Psa 51:17 -> “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”. 2 – Those who are destitute, that is to say, don’t have anybody nor anything to save them but Jesus: • Psa 102:16 -> “When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.”. 3 – Those who give themselves thoroughly to Jesus: • Mar 12:42-44 -> “And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: for all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”. 4 – Those who love and help the ones because they belong to Christ and serve Him (Mat 25:34-40): • Mar 14:6-9 -> “And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.”. • Mar 9:41 -> “For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.”. So, have a good day having Jesus as your unique Lord, Savior and Treasure, always giving yourself outright to Jesus and ready to help those who have alacrity to serve Him. But, above all: keep your heart always sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and ready to fix your mistakes after He convinces you of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8).
