Preparing the Way for the False Prophet

If the first beast of Revelation chapter 13 is rising, the second beast isn't far behind.

The Apostle John saw two beasts rising. The first beast had 10 horns and rose out of the sea. It is commonly believed this beast is the coming Antichrist who will rise out of a revived Roman Empire and 10-nation alliance. And, a 10-nation alliance in a revived Roman Empire appears to be what we are witnessing today in the new, super European Union.

The second beast had two horns and rose from the earth. This second beast is referred to as the false prophet. He will be a powerful religious figure who will direct worship toward the first beast, and cause people to take a mark on their right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell.

As I've said before, a beast in Bible prophecy is both a king and his kingdom that rises over Israel. This being the case, the false prophet will need a kingdom of some kind to enforce his global religious and economic control. And, it's my opinion his kingdom will be the United Nations -- which in turn I believe is the Babylon of Revelation chapters 17 and 18.

Who will this powerful religious leader be? I don't know. It could be someone like prince Hassan Bin Talal -- the brother of the late King Hussein I of Jordan. Hassan, who is also a Islamic religious leader, is not only a strong advocate of creating a hybrid, interfaith religion made up of Islam, Judaism and Christianity, he happens to also be the international president of the Club of Rome.

The Club of Rome is where Secular Humanist and New Agers meet for the purpose of creating their world government. Not only are its members very active in the UN, they also include many of the world's top political, economic and religious leaders -- including Javier Solana, the EU's foreign policy representative.

However, prince Hassan is just one guess as to who the coming false prophet could be. There are other examples of religions and state working together other than the Club of Rome. For example, the Catholic Church and the Vatican. In fact, it's being reported the Vatican -- the political arm of the Catholic Church -- is considering full membership in the UN (Read about it here >>> http://www.thecouriermail.news.com.au/comm...4%5E401,00.html

Why is the Catholic Church considering this move? I suspect it's because of the Club of Rome's growing influence in the UN. The Catholic Church may feel threatened and believe Christianity needs a place at the UN's table to counter the ever growing influence of the New Agers and Humanists.

However, the Vatican having a seat in the UN could also set the stage for another candidate to become the false prophet -- the next Pope.

No, I don't know who the false prophet will be.

But, I believe his way is being prepared.

Hello Thunder

Though I do not believe the AC himself is a forefront political leader, I do however believe that the false prophet will be. He will be the mouth piece for the AC when his appearance is imminent. I believe all the mentioned political leaders you have keenly been keeping track of, or all jogging for the position of the AC

Hi folks,

I hope every member of this board has a happy and safe 4th of July.

I don't think Thomas Rupp, the writer of this article reads the Bible, but wow, if he only knew what he was saying!! Here's the story :

04.07.2003 - 10:00 CET

[salt&pepper] EU - Back to the Middle Ages?

EUOBSERVER / SALT&PEPPER - To be honest, there is one thing I can never understand. Perhaps, in the follow-up to this contribution, someone could explain it to me; it is the expression: "Reunification of Europe".

The funny thing for me is that many people who use this expression, - as soon as they use the "re" - manage to put a mass of justification for an inevitable historical necessity into that little prefix, combined with an unbreakable intention to fight for that, because it has to be achieved by all costs.

Obviously there must be some former times in history, which were so tremendous that they compulsively try to revisit them. The way they pronounce the "re" is characterized by a certain ceremonial glow in their eyes.

It is as if they were soldiers from former times still trying to execute an order which was given to them thousands of years ago. But if this is true, that must have been on another planet, because as much as I rack my brain, I cannot find any desirable "unification" in this continent's history.

The Roman Empire

Perhaps there are some important historical facts I do not know about, but the only unifications or attempted unifications concerning Europe were - at least in my opinion - not particularly worth striving for:

There were the Romans who conquered nearly the whole of Europe and made the survivors obey their laws. Or what about a European Union in the medieval style of Charlemagne? Maybe that would that perhaps increase the quality of today's life?

Another event which unified the Europeans were the crusades - Bravo! Perhaps Napoleon could help, who seized power to "unite" large parts of Europe. Finally, there was Hitler who tried to create a sufficient European Lebensraum for the Aryan "race". - I hope we agree, that none of these examples can be seriously considered as an option for our future.

Develop a new vision

Consult a dictionary and it will define "re" as "a prefix (

Setting Stage for Mr. One-voice

Talk about setting the stage: The day before Javier Solana presented his new security doctrine to the EU heads at their June summit, the Mercury News posted an article titled, EU Struggling to Find One Voice.

Interestingly, I found a link to this article at the Web site of the Centre for European Reform (Go to it here). Why is this interesting to me? Because, the CER is a think tank that appears to always be promoting the views of Javier Solana.

Evidently, the CER posted a link to this article because one of their own -- Steven Everts -- was quoted in it. Everts, you may recall, was recently the co-author of a $10,000 winning essay suggesting that the EU's entire foreign policy be placed under Solana (Read about it here >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.cer.org.uk/

Here's what Everts had to say:

"Across Europe, people in the center and center-left increasingly are seeing EU integration as a way of moderating U.S. power, said Steven Everts, the transatlantic specialist for the Centre for European Reform in London. "This is significant. It is not the only factor in whether one joins the union, but how you deal with American power is an important one" (Read about it here).

As I said before, the next day, on June 19th, Solana presented his security doctrine to the EU heads. It was titled, A Secure Europe in a Better World. Solana's plan had three basic parts. First, it called for the EU to contribute more resources to establishing economic and political stability in their neighborhood. Second, it called on the EU to build an international order. And third, it called for the EU to strengthen its civil and military capacity to deal with the threat of weapons of mass destruction and rogue states.

The instant the EU heads heard Solana's plan, they all loved it. Their common foreign policy was in complete shambles. Now, suddenly, a man appeared with a solution.

Like I said, the stage had been set.

"Solana Pitches His "World Order"

Here's a scary piece of information. Did you know 11 of the 15 EU heads of state are what's known as center-left? In other words, they are socialists.

This year, on July 11-13, the world's center-left leaders will be holding their Progressive Governance Conference in London. The gathering will be hosted by British Prime Minister Tony Blair and have important leftist speakers, like Germany's Gerhard Schr

Israel wants full EU membership

By Zia Iqbal Shahid

BRUSSELS: Tel Aviv has sent several signals to the European Union conveying that Israel wants full EU membership.

Israeli government has officially told the EU that Israel is expediting its endeavours to resolve all its outstanding disputes with its neighbouring states which is a pre-requisite under the EU rules for acceptance of any country's candidature, a reliable source in Brussels told the News.

The European Union is faced with a new dilemma of handling the fresh diplomatic initiative by Israel seeking a full EU membership with the support of the current EU presidency, while other major EU member states remain divided on the issue.

The European Union was first startled when Israeli Foreign Minister Silver Shalom recently told an EU delegation in Washington that his government was weighing an application to join the EU. The foreign minister was quoted as saying: "possibility, in principle, exists for Israel to join the EU since Israel and Europe share similar economies and democratic values."

Italy holds the current EU presidency. Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi supports Israel's inclusion in the EU, and his views on this issue have triggered another crucial debate at the European Union. "My country insists on the vision of expanded Europe that will include Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldavia, the Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia and, of course, Israel. If Europe wants to compete with the United States, it must find a way to speak in one voice," the prime minister was quoted as saying.

Germany is the first to express deep reservations over the new EU presidency's propensity to support the campaign launched by Israel asking for a full membership of the EU. Germany has reacted coolly to the calls by the Italian prime minister to include Israel, Russia and Ukraine as new members in the European Union.

Despite very close relations with Israel and Russia, Germany is publicly opposing the move aimed at granting EU membership to these countries.

"There are no plans to include these countries into the European Union," German Foreign Ministry spokesman Walter Lindner said in a briefing.

The supporters of Israel's inclusion in the European Union argue that there should be no trepidation in accepting Israel's candidature for the EU, as Turkey, a strategic Middle East player and an Islamic country, has already been officially accepted as a candidate for the EU.

Knowing that under the prevalent EU rules, a country in dispute with its neighbours is not entitled to apply for candidature of the European Union, Israel's sympathisers in the EU are advising the government of Ariel Sharon to keep on expediting official efforts to implement the Middle East "roadmap" besides achieving peace with Syria and Jordan. Israel has already concluded peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan.

The European Union is a major actor in the Middle East, playing a vital role as a member of the "Quartet" of the United States, EU, Russia and the United Nations that have jointly drawn up the roadmap to settle the Middle East crisis.

Solana: Their Only Choice

As you may know, there is a battle looming between Javier Solana and Joschka Fischer over who will become the foreign minister for the new, super EU.

And, most reports so far suggest Fischer will get the job -- that is, until now.

The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) is reporting America and certain EU states plan on blocking Fischer from becoming the EU's new, super foreign minister (Read about it here >>>>>>>> http://www.irna.ir/en/head/030705155446.ehe.shtml

This report is intriguing to me for several reasons. For one thing, I've noticed the IRNA regularly reports quite favorably on the activities of Solana. For another, I've been expecting something to come along that would knock Fischer out of the race. And, it looks like this could be that something.

Besides, it was Solana who came up with the new security doctrine that all the EU's heads loved so much. Not only did the EU heads love it, Washington and Russia also loved it.

Like I said before, if I were looking for a foreign minister, I know who I'd choose.

Now Solana could be their only choice anyway.

Door Left Open

The EUobserver is reporting a door may have been left open for Solana's 10 nation alliance by last minute changes made to the EU's new constitution.

Regarding these changes, the report states:

"There have also been significant changes to the articles on reinforced co-operation, which allow some member states to move further ahead than the rest of the Union in certain areas. The proposed changes would make it easier to apply reinforced co-operation to the area of defence. A spokesperson denied that this would make it easier to bring about a defence union by the back door" (Read it here >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.euobserver.com/index.phtml?sid=9&aid=12030

This is what I think: I think there is more going on here -- much more. I suspect there is a move on the part of this 10-nation military alliance to take control of the new, super EU. And, although there are people who know about it, there is nothing anybody can do.

No, I'm not into conspiracy theories. I'm only into Bible prophecy. And, it is commonly held the Bible indicates there will be a 10-nation led revival of the old Roman Empire in the end times (Daniel 7:7-8, Revelation 13:1).

Beginning with Recommendation 666, I think that's what we're seeing.
