The reality is that when an abortion is botched ,,,,,they generally take the live baby and leave it in vacant room, closet etc alone ...If the baby is alive and will live, why not turn it over to an adoption agency right away? Born alive and left untended is Murder ...If society calls upon the police to hunt down a new mother trying to hide a birth by leaving the baby to die ...... that law should apply in this case as well. Legislators should be well aware of what exisitng state law covers the situation.
