Wow, what a lovely area you live in!   Loved the babbling brook, too.   I love any water features....even man-made fountains since I live in the city.

Do you ever see any snakes on your walk?   In the suburbs of Los Angeles, there can be Rattlesnakes which are venomous.

Wow what a peaceful walk if that was here the path would be inundated with cyclists and people walking dogs

They are probably there but we'll camouflaged so we rarely see them. Anything from mole snakes to cobras. We do see plenty of lizards.

Very pretty area. When I read South Africa on your profile, I sort of expecting wild animals like lions, zebras, etc. but I see that modern suburbs have come to Africa too . . .

Grace and Peace . . . Ray . . .

Was this walk in odd hours when there was nobody else there?

Indeed. The kind of animals you're thinking of are around here. In the mountains around us, for example,  you could find leopards and baboons. For larger animals you'd need to go further north east mostly. Western Cape and especially my town is very much westernised.

Yes. Saturday afternoon in overcast conditions.  When many are watching or playing sport.
