I was never very good at art. I spent most of my adult life in the communications.

Started out installing small systems like 5 or 10 phones in an offices to hotels from Motel  6 up to Sheraton, Hyatt, changed lot of whole towns old system to new electronic systems. Later, Newspaper plants, Hospitals, about any type company that needed over 200 phones. Several years Traveled town to town depending on job size and size of team we spend 2 months to 10 months in a town.

@NConly Some of my wife's relatives have spent a lot of time doing telephone work; various of them, in fact.

There's still a demand for the landlines - maybe digital now, of course - even though so many individuals and business seem to use cellphones; I'm not sure about the exact statistics; you would probably know much better than me.

As regards those who do have the artistic skill, among professing Christians (let alone anyone else) the demand for good tattoo artists seems to be really huge and has been rising exponentially.

The sheer client demand and artist work potential - among those with the skill and application - for wholesome tattoo designs is certainly out there; this is undeniable, anyway.

godlywoman413's basic point, above, seems to be about participating in the demand for wholesome tattoo designs, anyway.

Don’t know the effectiveness or much about them.  I don’t have any tattoos at all.  Don’t want any. I do have relation who does.

@BibleWords Thanks for your participation in the poll. The various responses will make for an interesting overall picture, I reckon.

(Would the relative's tattoo(s) that he or she has happen to be faith-based in design?)

@BibleWords Although a lot of ppl's tattooed relatives would likely be among the young ppl, yet the trend for example among many grandmothers to receive the names or initials of their grandchildren onto their arms or wrists would likely be regarded among many Christians as rather benign.

So far the poll results seem to be quite diverse.

I just checked it. According to God's word we are not to print marks on our bodies as it emulates a pagan practice, so I cannot advocate tattoos unless they are the removable ones, then they can be used as a witness I suppose. But the best witness is a life that is transformed by the Lord. I prefer using tracts. We did one with one of my husband's drawing of a baby on the cover entitled, "You are Valuable."  The way it's done people receive it readily, especially the street people who need to see that God sees them as valuable.

@Biblican God bless such evangelistic efforts that you mentioned.

Some ppl see the context 'for the dead' as being particularly linked to the Leviticus verse. (All the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I have spoken seem to have received them for witness tool purposes.)

Thanks also for participating in the poll.
