I have been getting the flu vaccination since 1990. For 33 years. I have had no side effects and no problems from the flu vaccine. A month and a half ago I received the flu vaccine for the year. The day after I got the flu vaccine I developed a weird side effect. This is not your usual sore arm, headache etc side effect. I know that it was from the vaccine because I was just fine before I received the Fluzone quad intramuscular vaccine manufactured by Sanofi. I am still dealing with this side effect since I received the vaccine. I will never get another vaccination. I don't know what they are putting in these vaccines but it isn't good.

Ironically, We just found out my wife has COVID tonight after she was feeling bad and took a test.

We both took multiple COVID vaccines, so like others I am very reluctant to ever take another vaccine.

I have a member in my extended family who was never vaccinated and caught Covid pretty bad two years ago.  He's never been the same since.  He's had infections and now he's has a mystery rash - probably viral.

It seems to be a roll the guess wheel on some of this. Many of my friends who refused vaccination caught COVID but it was like a bad case of the flu. They are all ok now. So I dunno. I just scratch my head over a lot of it.

My theory is there were different batches of the vaccine, and maybe different viruses. Apparently our batch was ok. A lot seems to depend on a persons susceptibility to some of the things in the vaccine. Some people really had serious issues.

I was under the impression that the surviving members of my immediate family were like me when it came to COVID --- exposed countless times but always negative. I heard from my youngest sister last month and it turns out that I'm only one who hasn't been touched by it. All three of them have been sick with COVID.

We had multiple outbreaks at the shelter where I work, two of which happened before the vaccines. I can't tell you how many times I've been exposed to sick clients and members of staff. I had to have my nasal cavity swabbed every week at the VA to provide proof of my untouched status. That went on for the duration of the pandemic. I suggested that they give me a t-shirt to commemorate the fact that I'm an honorary swabbie.

It wasn't pleasant. Hey, at least they don't need to scrape the brain case now. I administer COVID tests to clients at work... no mile-long swab required.

Our experience with COVID is genetic in basis, brother. The same applies to other viral maladies like the cold and the flu. Like COVID, I have never been touched by the flu. 30 years ago, not long after I arrived at the fellowship when I came to the Lord, a flu epidemic swept through. It was pretty bad, reducing everyone to bed rest. It was hard to bear. I felt like there was something wrong with me because I was the last man standing.

Contrast this with how vulnerable I was to specific bacterial and fungal infections. This is also genetic in origin --- I was born with chronic granulomatous disease, caused by an error in a specific gene located on the X chromosome --- and a combination of bacterial infections and fungal pneumonia almost killed me over 10 years ago. Fungal pneumonia scarred my lungs and calcified the lymph nodes next to my heart. Consider how I also inherited a rare type of muscular dystrophy from my mother, a chain-repeating error in a gene located on the X chromosome associated with the protein dystrophin, and a pattern emerges:

Deficient in some ways but enjoying benefits in other ways. My immune system zaps viruses with a vengeance so they never have a chance to invade the cells of my body and replicate. On the other hand, my body is powerless to fight invasions by specific bacteria and funguses. Catch 22.

I am fortunate in that I have a strong immune system that tends to vaporize viruses.  I have not caught any colds since the pandemic.  It was discovered that that bad cough I had a few years ago was from the pesticides they used to spray the fields around where I lived.  I moved to the city and all my nasal and itchy throat problems evaporated.

Thanks brother. I am hanging with my wife to help her. In close proximity to all of those germs. I had already been on a pretty strong regimen of vitamins and  other substances to build up my cells. At least one of those is a deterrent to COVID, so I'm really praying I don't get it.

I am a "leftist" and a Christian.  Our basic philosophy is to maximize individual freedom and not allow people to be discriminated against by protecting them via just laws.

No, the basic philosophy of a "leftist" is that of a Marxist/Communist.  They are evil.  It is the leftists that are now running our country, and INTO the ground, intentionally.  They hate freedom and our Constitution.

It is in fashion now to bash "leftists" as you are doing, which is of course contrary to the command found in both the Old Testament and the New Testament: Love your neighbor as yourself.

The Bible never commands that we love evil.  Or the devil.

If you remember the parable Jesus told, the "righteous" Jews passed by the wounded man, but he was shown active love by the "despised" Samaritan, who took care of him.  Would you classify the Samaritan as a leftist?

Of course not.  If he were a leftist, he would have abused the wounded man, as leftists are doing all over the world.

In summary, I totally disagree with your negative post: The intention of leftist/socialist/anti-Christian ideologues has always been to divide; to scare the simple-minded into compliance, and to make people choose sides against each other. Christians should know better than to allow such divisive strategies to infect the church, but alas, we all have things to learn.

If you want to learn the truth I will discuss the matter with you.  If you want to remain judgmental, read Matthew 7.

It is interesting what you think leftists are.  They are political animals, marxists, communists, etc.  They ENSLAVE people because they have a very strong power lust, just like their father Satan.
