The LORD God Almighty is the Son in the form of a human being. God's Spirit is in Jesus Christ.

My apologies, I’ve certainly misread something you’d written previously.  Sorry bout that.

In computer science you can have data and then a pointer to data. In fact, you can have multiple pointers to the same underlying data. Each pointer points to the same thing. The thing is not accessed directly but is referenced via its pointer(s). Perhaps we're dealing with something similar. Maybe God, whatever his ultimate form, is sufficiently abstract as to be incomprehensible to our minds, hence we have easier to conceptualize "pointers" that point to the underlying truth, each in their own unique way.

If we look at the date amply supplied by Scripture, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are overwhelmingly present in what Scripture reveals.

…it’s about the different perspectives of believers.

My observation is this: Most people just ‘believe in the trinity,’ and others ‘are Trinitarians.’

I'm not questioning belief, I’m really asking for your personal thought process regarding how you “see” God in your mind and how that may differ in how you describe Him to others.

[possible ways to make this into a tangible question…]

Do you picture God as one, but 3 roles?

Do you picture God as 3, but still call Him One

Do you picture God as 3, but claim the Father & Son are One when others may mention polytheism?

Do you feel that sharing Him as 3 individuals is more beneficial or less than presenting Him as One God, (or vise-versa)?

How do you handle opposition?

Im not seeking specific answers to these specific questions; these are examples intended only to inspire answers to those who would like to contribute to what is certain to be a variety of perspectives.

I’ve had different thoughts and perspectives over the years. Thought it would be interesting to hear how others reconcile, or just deal with, this particular doctrine and others who may think differently.

Please don’t post tons of scripture as your response, I’m looking for your personal words… you can certainly work scripture into your response; if fact, it’s best that you do, but it’s up to you.

I'm not calling God an octopus but nature can reveal things.

If an octopus can have nine brains and three hearts, I don't see why God can't have three brains and three hearts yet one Spirit.

Jesus says God is one is the most important commandment.

Why do you avoid talking about it?

It is about salvation.

If we worship a false god there is no salvation.

It is a salvific subject.

I have not read the detail of your message because I know what Trinitarianism is.

Trin doctrine is their core belief.

This is an excellent subject to discuss.

blessings.

Amen.

Then why don't you want to talk about it?

Jesus says God is one but most mainstream churches claim God is triune.

The Greatest Commandment

28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel:

The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[e] 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

Mark 12:28-30

Mark 12:28-30

The important commandment of the ten is the first and the greatest is to love.

Matthew 22

35One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with a question: 36“Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?”

37Jesus declared, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

The Hebrew word "one" used in the bible is "echad". It means unity, not singularity.

It is also used in Genesis 2:24 in referring to a husband and wife being one flesh. A husband and wife are not one as in a singular being. Rather, they are in unity with each other.

There is a Hebrew word that means absolute singularity, "yachid", which is not used anywhere in the bible to describe God deity.

John 10

30 I and the Father are one.

I think we have been trained to not see the elephant in the room. Yahweh (One True God) in an interlinear bible states several times in the Old Testament that He alone is God and that there is no other. Before I believe that He changed that, He would then have to tell me that. Otherwise, I believe what He has already said.
