As to old school days and classics, my contemporary "Classic's" readings did not even merit me extra credit; fact it put me on all the instructors watch 'em list. Yes we would have to recite various Bible proverbs along with the morning salute to flag, etc. I not being Bible versed was at a serious disadvantage confusing and reciting some poetic ditties of e.ecummings as being equally worthy of Proverb classification when my turn came. I spent a lot of school time awaiting at the boys dean's office and even longer in detention being reeducated after regular school hours. It got so I thought school was an 8AM to 5PM proposition. Aah times long ago. I survived it all, even prospered some, and have met two absolutely awesome Proverb 31 gals in my life that were willing to accept me as their lifemate.
