(The Mennonite Lady that you mention must have been pretty conservative.) Nowadays it's done, not because a woman is of a certain type. More likely............it's done because it's what adult women do. e.g.,: "Hi Nikki! you got a tattoo!" "Yes, I've turned 18." Nancy said: tattoos ... everyone and their grandmothers has them now and, they do not a thing for me, what can I say? Pretty much every one I know, and that includes Christians and myself, have a tattoo so... christianforums dot com ................... And they are often faith-based in design. A collegue has a small one instead of a wedding ring for instance. But this girl said her arms were full of tattoos. I didn't see them. She hid them. Why that was surprising was that she looked very neat. Make up, neat hair, super neat clothes. Not a type I expected to be tattooed up. And a Dutch girl. Almost nobody has many tattoos. Think, Anything a woman wears out or announces in public, any man or any other woman now knows where to go, where you might go, Your interests etc, Where you might go to or where you might be.
