This is not something that can supposedly be caused to happen by turning prayer on and off like a tap, so to speak. I'm sure you would agree. For instance lately I prayed with my mom for my dad and then after a while we both had the idea that God said it was good, but then I was like: huh? Is this enough for now? Cause years ago for collegues I prayed insane much and useless, cause one was even dead and I only stopped praying that he would be raised from the dead when he was cremated, while the man was already in heaven. Beloved ones, I consider we should assess what Jesus said, that we may perceive and understand what is spiritually discerned. We may THINK that we know that our Father which art in heaven know what things we need of, before we ask of Him. If really we know that we think that way, we should ACT as those who BELIEVE that we RECEIVE what things we need of, for we ASK HIM NOT IN VAIN, BUT WE ASK HIM that we BELIEVE WE RECEIVE WHAT WE ASK, for He is our Father which art in heaven that knew. That is AN ACT OF FAITH, TO BELIEVE THAT WE RECEIVE WHAT WE ASK HIM IN FAITH, for He is our Father which art in heaven that knew. That our Father which art in heaven KNEW, we know His loving kindness. To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ. If that is the case, one knows neither God nor the scriptures. As you have quoted Matthew 6:8 Do not be like, them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. As you have quoted Matthew 6:8 Do not be like, them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. I am encouraging that we together heed what our Lord Jesus said that be we NOT therefore like the heathens, that we NOT ONLY THINK, for our Father which art knew what things we need of, before we ask Him BUT we ASK HIM REPEATEDLY, BELIEVING that we RECEIVE what things we need of, for our Father which art in heaven knew. BUT we should not ASK IN VAIN. For we also heard what apostle James said: “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” James 4:3 KJV If we ASK our Father which art in heaven NOT IN VAIN, we ASK what things we need of,NOT TO CONSUME IT UPON OUR LUSTS, but we ASK RIGHTLY, to continue living by faith, accordance to the Spirit of God. To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ. Amen
