Well man think about it. When Jesus went to the temple what did he see? Street mearchents. He said "You have turnd my farthers house into a den of theves."

That was richous anger. Anger brought about becouse of something horrible wrong.

So to that efect in a way we can do the same, When we get angrey becouse of something that has been done to others unjustly (aka murder, rape, theft ext) We can get angry and still not be in sin, becouse it is a richous anger and not a selfish one.

I think anger is love just misdirected.

I'm sure God loves the devil. He must as they both exist in union; one cannot live without the other as God created the devil.

Actually neither of your statements are true.

Anger is the absence of love, just as darkness is the absence of light.

God does not love the devil.

...Christians believe that since you are saved. You should not show emotions that would question your relationship with God.

I'm having a hard time swallowing that one. My first instinct is to say that there is a misunderstanding of what is truely an "emotion" and what is not. Love, for example, is not an emotion, but we usually think and speak of it as one because we can easily connect it to several actual emotions. Emotions are neither "good" nor "bad"...they're a feeling. I guess I can't think of anywhere we are ever told not to feel, or to hide that we feel. (please remind me if I am wrong)

Anyway, I don't see sin in any "emotion" (even anger)...but they certainly can lead one to sin if they are not controled by the Spirit. Thoughts?

In Christ,

Eric

righteous anger is NOT the absence of Love.

righteous anger SCREAMS Godly Agape Love.

orthodoxy and WOF'er's warm fuzzies wont ever recognize that.

they have become way to NUMB to God's Righteousness.

I was talking about human anger, since the OP mentioned it.

So, how does one get angry and not sin?

in Him;

Corey

Good question...Because when I get angry it usually means I want to punch somebody in the mouth

So, how does one get angry and not sin?

Well one way is to talk to God about it. Today I became very angry with Christians who are so caught up in that WOF that they think anyone with a disablity has unconfessed sin or lacks faith. I was so mad, but I took a walk and I talked to God about it. He brought calm to my spirit and to my mind. It took 45 minutes of walking and praying but now my anger has gone it to pity. Pity for those who are mislead by the WOF leaders.
