Israel - wow! Eat an eye? I've dissected cows' eyes in lab - would you let me know what the lens is like? You see, the preserative has a way of hardening things, and I'd be curious to know what the lens is like without having been hardened. I mean, how bendable is it? Thanks! I'll find out! Botz ( an admin I know) was about to go fishing with me, and we were about to get some maggots, when I said in a firm tone "Tell me, how much would you pay me to eat one." Botz turned (I think) "What?! You're telling you're going to eat maggots?" I nodded. "How much?" "MAGGOTS!!???" "Come on Botz!!!" "Errr.......I'd pay a choco bar if you ate 3." "Deal." I nodded, and the deal was on. I pulled him down next to me. "Promise you'll not tell Mum, ("Jenbe" on here,) about this>?" Botz gave me a strange smile. "Ok......" I grinned. "You going to get them?" "Ok, I'll go now...we'll go today." He went. n All day, Jenbe saw us grinning at each other!!! "Jenbe" came out and saw Botz. "Where you going?" Botz grinned. "To get the magots." " "Yomo" is NOT going to eat one is she?" asked Jenbe. "Err......." That was the end of it. Mum forbade me to eat any one of those lovely pink wriggly things......... My son is also leaving for Israel on Friday ! How long will you be there? My son will be staying a month ~ in Jerusalem. My sister and brother-in-law live in Jerusalem and he will be staying with them and volunteering at Bridges for Peace. What will you be doing there?
