Maybe we should all email Wal-Mart and let them know how we feel.

Last year, the Wal-Mart in my neighborhood was selling nativity scenes and Bibles and other books by Christian authors. I'll check this year.

Remember, religous tolerance breeds independence. Having the main religon step down in lieu of others is a good thing. It shows the world was true religous tolerance means.

Yeah, I can see one of the prophets of Baal telling that to Elijah on Mt. Carmel....

Its funny how religious tolerance works nowadays. Christians are told that we have to "tolerate" every form of religious "expression" that the world wants to throw in our face, but there had not be even ONE public expression of Jesus in public cause a Muslim or Buddhist might not want to have to face the reality that we don't believe as they do. We have to say "Happy Holidays" because a Muslim cannot "tolerate" hearing a Christian express their faith in Christ. "Tolerance" is not a one-way street.

The hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a knife. I say that we as Christians simply let the Muslims, and Atheists and whoever else that hates our faith, scream, kick and pout all they want. I really don't care what they think. The Muslims, and Atheists are not going to define our Christmas observance. We will just continue saying Merry Christmas, and remind corporate America that WE are the ones who keep them in business. They are here for us, not the other way around. It is the Christmas shopping season they depend on for their end of the year profit margin, if they don't like our faith, so what???? Christmas is not about the gifts anyway. My Christmas would not be diminished if there were no presents.

Whoever is offended at my "Merry Christmas" can either leave the country so as not hear it anymore, or they can simply shut up and "tolerate" it.

That is terrible about Walmart.

I am going to check ours too, and look for nativity scenes.

I sent my email to Wal-Mart letting them know that I will not spend my money at a store that is too cowardly to acknowledge the fact that Christmas is about Jesus.

There are plenty of other stores willing to take my cash.

I also let them know that I communicate, via Internet, with many Christians who feel the same way.
