I'm going to guess Canada, because I live in Minnesota and we don't have any snow yet. I'm glad for it! Winter lasts sooooo long up here. It would be nice to have snow for Christmas week and then have it go away. :::sigh::: I'm getting crotchity in my old-age I guess! Cats, You have a fireplace in New Mexico??? NEVER would have guessed they needed them. Does it actually dip into the 60's there some nights?

NEVER would have guessed they needed them. Does it actually dip into the 60's there some nights? Um, well...believe it or not, fireplaces are "standard equipment" in NM. I don't know why....it was this way when we got here. Every house has a fireplace...no matter what. It can get into the 30's here during the winter. At night, it usually dips into the 40's every night. Desserts get pretty toasty during the day but cold at night. But, sad to say...no snow. Santa Fe, NM has snow as often as any northern city. It's 7,000 feet above sea level. We're about 3,200 feet above sea level where I live. *(Oh, and NO hurricanes here!)

A Christmas with snow is a wonderful Christmas for me. With the kids we have so much fun, making snow men, throwing snow balls at each other, shoveling the snow on each other ..... I love to drive in the snow too! Sometimes when I go to the store in the snow, I bring the kids along and in the empty parking lot (wonder where everybody's gone!?) I would make my car skid and everybody would laugh, including the biggest kid in the car (me!). LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW !!
