When ever I hear about what Jesus did on the cross one thing seems not to be told. I've had a glimpse into this and it's not something that I'd wish on my worst enemy.

Jesus choose to be separated from God. That might not seem like a big deal to a lot of people compare to the beatings and other things He went through, however; I've found that that was the upmost sacrifice.

Can you imagine what it felt like for Him to be completely cut off from His Father? For the first time in eternity He didn't feel Him. Is there any wonder why Jesus cried "Father why have you forsaken me?"

Completely void of the presence of God... and not for something that He's done, but for us. What love? Thank you Father.

Just thought I'd share whats on my mind.

God Bless You

Jacqueline

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Great point. Not only did He become separated, but only His will could do that! There was and is no power in the cosmos that could separate God and Jesus but their own decision to let it happen. It humbles me when I think that I was part of the reason it had to happen, and that it was done for me. Amen
