Guest LadyC
trinity, a gloss over God's best creation... that was just too good! seriously, wearing makeup isn't a sin. VANITY is a sin, however, so like others have said, be careful of your motives... my youngest daughter is now married, but it wasn't that long ago she would not even go to the mailbox (even if nobody was around) without first putting on all her makeup and fixing her hair! THAT is vanity at it's most extreme... well, most extreme for a young teen, anyway. i suppose it's far more extreme to go getting implants and liposuction and facelifts.... IMHO, moderation is wise when applying it. Also, the excessive pursuit of vanity is best avoided and that I see from God's Word. Funny you should ask...I began reading an article about it last week, but hadn't finished reading it... God Bless, Mrs. SE PS What is your take on it? Guest diet
its good to make-up and look good if you can afford it. it's also good to have in mind that you were wonderfully made by God,whatever you do to enhance the beauty would be apprecaited if it doesn't alter God's original design. As far as it being a sin, I really don't see how it could be. Most women wear make up to feel more confident and some wear it to cover up blemishes or scars. As long as it looks natural and you blend it well, go for it. Do it for yourself and no one else.
