  1. In John 3:3-7: Jesus answered and said to him,
  2. Hello Hani . Welcome to Worthy boards ! What country are you from? It is fascinating to me to be able to communicate with people from other lands and countries in this manner. You also mentioned you are Muslim. I have encountered various Muslim faiths. How would you describe yours? I look forward to your input in our discussions here about religion and God and am pleased to meet you, virtually speaking... . Take a look around and jump in when you find something you would like to discuss. I think you can even begin topic threads in the Outer Court forum if you have anything particular on your heart and mind. I also believe in there being only one true God and praise Him for His salvation through my Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ and His presence with me in the Holy Spirit, Amen. Glory be to Jehovah, Mrs. SE
  3. No thanks! Incrementalism at work...more to come soon. Mrs. SE
  4. Hi Serenity, :) I think you have quite an interesting diet going there. I would be curious to know your age and find out how often you get illnesses and how long you might live blessed with a measure of good health? I agree with you that there is probably a link to eating fresh fruits and veggies for improved health. Do you ever eat the seeds in your fruit, also? and do you permit any fish or eggs in your diet? Since cancer cases and other certain illnesses have experienced dramatic increases in the past one hundred years, I have also wondered about the links to pesticide use, preservatives, chemical food additives, and certain food processing. I refuse to eat anything containing aspartame and recently decided to ban all products containing msg. I recently decided to cut back on consumption of foods containing nitrates and have almost completely removed splenda from our diet. I noticed while nursing my son that my consumption of splenda seemed to be irritating him. There was a period of about 1-2 days that I did not consume it, and I noticed his skin irritation subsided. I stumbled across that observation without even looking at splenda suspiciously. I also could not eat ANYTHING made from cow's milk from about the 6th week to the 7th or 8th month that I have been nursing him, since it would irritate his system pretty badly. He even had blood in his stool sometimes. He has outgrown that, but I still do not think he can handle a lot of egg whites in my diet and I think he is sensitive to nuts, so I have quit consuming them, for the time being. I have learned a lot through this process He has brought us through. Praise the Lord Jesus the Christ, for I was puzzled over what to do for our son and He has imparted us wisdom as I paid attention to our sons conditions. Organic costs much more money in the corner of the world I occupy, but for the long run, I try to weigh the cost to our health. I have seen a list of some of the most high concentrates of pesticides. I read somewhere that if you wash and/or soak certain fruits and veggies in a solution of lemon juice and salt, diluted with water, that it will remove a lot of them from the surface. They also sell a fruit and veggie wash in most grocery stores now, but is more expensive then this homemade recipe. I have not tried the store version yet, but the lemon juice version sometimes soaks into the flavor of certain foods, especially leafy veggies. Just for clarity, I am not implying that animal meats are forbidden in scripture for consumption. The Lord Jesus Himself fed the crowds with fish and God gave meat drained of the blood to mankind for consumption sometime shortly after Noah exited the ark. I have not received word to do otherwise. This is not to say that I think others are not likewise free to abstain from meat consumption if they are so led. Glory be to God for all His Goodness, Mrs. SE
  5. Well, your grandmother might be rich, because I can usually afford a box of that delicious Kellogg's Cracklin' Oat Bran about once or twice a year, WHEN and IF they decide to put it on sale. Have you seen how much a box of that goes for in comparison with all the other cereals ? I first discovered it when still living at home with my dad, not that it was intended for me...since it was not put in the cupboards with the rest of the cereals. My dad would usually hide this particular cereal in his room somewhere . My brother and I became quite adept at finding all of his favorite hiding places... . I love pecans, but it took me working in a candy and nut shop for a few years before I could actually appreciate them. One man's trash...is another women's treasure... . Mrs. SE

What will the history books say? Mrs. SE
  7. Me and my llama , went out to find Osama... . Unconventional hardware carrier... ...cantankorous... ...that always spit at ya!?! What will they think of next? Mrs. SE
  8. My absolute favorite candy would have to be rich, bittersweet dark chocolate...mmmmm.... it is #1, so add me to the fan club . ...&... I love to snack on cheese, please... ...Cheddars, mozzarella, provolone, Goudas, Swiss, American, cottage, fetas, blends, slices, bricks, sticks, cubes, curds, crumbles, shreds, spreads, smoked, add garlic, add dill, with wine, perhaps this is overkill...if I was a tycoon, for cheese I would drill... ...*squeak*... ...sometimes with or without the crackers, bread, pretzels, and/or chips... ... and now I am licking my lips . Okay, I won't extrapalate any further... . Mrs. SE
  9. I have found myself thinking many of those same thoughts about televised sports. The immoral behaviour that is often displayed in and throughout the programming can be rather revolting. I find that most of what passes for entertainment strikes me as revolting. Even watching the local news I sometimes feel the need to look away or turn off the tele momentarily. "Be careful little eyes what you see, because the Father up above, He is looking down in love, so be careful little eyes what you see" goes running through my head . I enjoyed learning about how the game of football operates and basically only watch some Packers games, because I came to enjoy following White's & Farve's career. I don't think I even watched half of their games this year. I suppose the main reason I ever began to pay attention was to show interest in something that my husband enjoyed. We probably both would agree with much of what you said, though. Mrs. SE
  10. Excellent post, Sue. I appreciated it very much. "Logos" and "rhema" may be Greek, but I know what you mean. Glory be to God, Mrs. SE
  11. It is what you eat your Kimchi in, while realizing it is exciting in a way that is burning hot to you because the Green Bay Packers did not make it this year, as you are wondering...When will they win another Super Bowl again ? Aye... ...Ya! Mrs. SE
  12. I praise my Good God for His Word... Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. Joh 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. Joh 1:5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Joh 1:6 There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. Joh 1:7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. Joh 1:8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. Joh 1:9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. Joh 1:11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, Joh 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. Joh 1:15 John *testified about Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.'" Joh 1:16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. Joh 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. Joh 1:18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him. Joh 1:19 This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?" Joh 1:20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ." Joh 1:21 They asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And he *said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No." Joh 1:22 Then they said to him, "Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?" Joh 1:23 He said, "I am A VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE STRAIGHT THE WAY OF THE LORD,' as Isaiah the prophet said." Joh 1:24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. Joh 1:25 They asked him, and said to him, "Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" Joh 1:26 John answered them saying, "I baptize in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know. Joh 1:27 "It is He who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie." Joh 1:28 These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. Joh 1:29 The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Joh 1:30 "This is He on behalf of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.' Joh 1:31 "I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water." Joh 1:32 John testified saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. Joh 1:33 "I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, 'He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.' Joh 1:34 "I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God." Joh 1:35 Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples, Joh 1:36 and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!" Luk 18:19 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. ...and His salvation. Amen! Glory be to the Good God on High, Mrs. SE
  13. I have been to Korea several years ago, it is no longer the rural dirt road country it once was. Korea now has the worlds second largest steel mill (Second only to one in Russia), Something like the worlds third largest shipyard, and may other industries. One interesting proverb was on the arch to the entrance for the Steel mill wich read "Imagination is boundless, recources are limited" I won't go into the whole story here, but my oma told me these stories when I was in my mid twenties. Having been first born and raised in the US, I couldn't imagine a life lived like this, even though by our standards, we were considered poor, and to some extent, I bought into to this mentality... . When my oma told me these stories, I found myself thinking about how worldly and foolish my mindset was. I needed to see that I do not deserve anything good from the Lord. In fact, had I been in the wilderness for fourty years with the Isrealites with that mentality, I would of certainly been one of those grumbling against the Lord for my portion, instead of thanking Him for my deliverance and the manna that rained down from heaven. Aye ya... . Peace, Mrs. SE
