Both Mahayana Buddhism & Hinanyana Buddhism teach men as becoming gods through study & meditation. Hints of Mormonism. Buddhism is technically nontheistic, if not "atheistic." Buddhism is a broken bridge leading exactly nowhere. Gandhi summarized its folly thus: "God is truth and truth is God." My question to Gandhi has to be: "What in the world does THAT mean?" We are sitting in a room; that is a true statement. What has that got to do, sir, whether this room is god or not?! It doesn't. It only conforms to a statement I have just made. God exists - is that a true statement? If that is a true statement, WHO IS this One True God? Exactly. Buddhism certainly falls far short of the mark. All religionists, including all Buddhists as well the Dalai Lama himself, need the One True God, the Lord Jesus Christ. http://arthurdurnan.freeyellow.com
