Guest Living Sacrifice
Hello, I was reading in Acts this morning when I read something that I have heard about and read before, but this time it really hit me hard. I was reading about Stephen. If you want to read, open God

Stephen was an example of being full of faith and willing to pay the ultimate price for that faith. I personally can't imagine being so forgiving if I was on the receiving end of what Stephen was. There's much we can learn from the people we read about in scripture and apply those principles to our own lives. Nice post, Dustin.

You're right. Stephen was a very faithful person. He acted very Christ-like, and was martyred for Christ. We should forgive others, and love others, that is our duty. These verses ask us all to forgive and to love others, evil or good. Colossians 3:12,13 "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering," "Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye." Ephesians 3:17 "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye being rooted and grounded in love." Ephesians 4:2 "With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love." Ephesians 4:32 "And be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Matthew 5:44 "But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matthew 22:37-39 "Jesus said unto them, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." "This is the first and greatest commandment." "An the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." John 15:12 "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." I hope these verses helped LS. God bless you brother.

However, many times we fall short, due to temptation, and lusts, and the like. I try my hardest to be like what the verses ask me to be. God bless you Dustin.
